Liked: Its proximity to the centre of Edinburgh. Also the staff were very good and the security boxes, as well as the good standard of rooms were a highlight.

Disliked: There wa s ageneral lack of cleanliness about the toilet/bathroom areas throughout the hostel. Usable but only because I had no other choice.

Liked: Closeness to the Old Town and New Town.

Disliked: It was a bit loud. And there cold be more showers. I only found one, in our room. To share it with ten other people was a bit of a hassle.

Liked: Good location, in the middle of everything.

Disliked: Renovations were happening at the time and no mention of this anywhere. The smell of paint was overwhelming. Due to the paintings, no numbers on doors so very confusing for almost everyone on our floor

Liked: it is located right by the train station and in the heart of Edinburgh - very easy to get around from here - nice hostel undergoing some upgrades

Disliked: the rooms are very small but if you are staying in hostels you don't expect to do much more than sleep in your room

Disliked: the shower was hairy, the one in the room didn't properly work without any shower curtain, the door to the shower wasn't lockable. but for the rest everything fine!

Liked: Location was good, it was on the main street, only 1 block away from the other side of the town, and 1 block away from High Street. The building was secure and it was clean. Breakfast was organized and nice, eve though it was just toast, cereal, coffee and tea.

Disliked: 1. free internet did not work 2. you'd have to pay if you want your stuff to be put into a locker

Liked: This was in a great location and heaps of fun at the bar down stairs. We did have a bit of trouble with the key cards. but that was the only downside. breakfast was great value aswell :)

Liked: Great location! Also, the staff were always very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Some of the shared rooms are a little too small. When we stayed there they were doing renovations and so there were builders and paint everywhere.

Disliked: little bit dirty and they charge for luggage storage which i wasnt used to

Liked: very close to the train station, bathroom ok, breakfast basic but adequate, staff friendly

Disliked: no room to sit up straight on your bed, no proper lockers except in luggage room, room keys kept demagnetising (but they always give you a new one when you can't get in the door)

Liked: I HAD A GREAT TIME...I DONT WANT TO GO INTO DETAILSBUT IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY BETWEEN 14 AND 18 POUNDS FOR A STAY THIS PLACE IS AWESOME
