Liked: Nice dorms. We stayed in a 14 bed dorm which had much space and nice new furniture.

Liked: Excellent internet connection. Internet was very fast. Excellent location. Right in the city center across the street from Waverly train station.

Disliked: No luggage room. Elevator was broken. Shower did not work in my room on the last night I stayed there. The light in the bathroom in my room had exposed wires that were smoking at one point.

Liked: i stayed here on 2 seperate occasions in the one week. The first room i stayed in was nice. it was a 6 girl dorm with an ensuite and the shower was really clean, so was the room. i liked the bar and the atmoshpere of the hostel. i was pretty happy with the first room i stayed in.

Disliked: The second time i stayed there i had the most disgutingly dirty room. it had dirty floors and a pair of underwear that was there for the whole 4 nights i was there, that didnt belong to anyone in the room. there was a bottle holding the window open and rubbish in the room. there wasnt a ensuite bathroom (which i knew when i booked) but the share bathrooms had mould in the showers and hair on the floors, and they were having works done to them so they were closed in the day, but were'nt any cleaner the next day. i wasnt very happy with this room.

Liked: The location is great and you can come and go whenever you like. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We booked two beds in a 6 bed room, but in the end we had the room for ourselfs.. so if you want to save money and you are lucky, you have a room for two for less! =)

Disliked: The facilities were ok clean, but some have been damaged. But in total they have not been disgusting or anything, they are quite ok.

Disliked: Linen (didn't smell entirely clean), Toilet Lid (too flimsy to sit on when dressing / undressing in the bathroom), Shower wasn't entirely clean.

Liked: everything! its fantastic for meeting people, and a good location.

Liked: There was a lot going on, lots of opportunity to meet people. Everything was relatively clean, the location was great, staff were friendly. Great place!

Disliked: The internet was pretty expensive and very slow. The chillout room was pretty dark and gloomy, but the bars made up for that.

Liked: It's a good reasonably priced hostel right across from Waverley train station

Disliked: The rude note on the door stating I was in the wrong bed left by staff when we returned from a lovely night out and after I had already spent the night in the bed. There seemed to be some confusion over this as a new person came to stay in our 4 bedded dorm and she was and had been apparently told to by staff in the bed I had previously stayed in. At 1 in the morning getting into a bed that someone else (the previous occupier) had slept in was not much fun especially with such a rude note stuck to the door, at this time of night on the third floor the last thing you want is to have to alert staff and get your bed changed. Also, on a different note just a mention that if you want the old town eg the royal mile etc (where a lot of the fringe venues are) there's a fair few stairs to climb or a little bit of a walk up the road and and around the corner a good few other hostels are a bit more central in the old town.

Disliked: The fire alarm going off at 2am! And the noise from downstairs!

Liked: The location is quite central.

Disliked: Our room was located right above the bar, there was no silence and it was impossible to sleep before 2 a.m. The lounge area is hot and with no daylight, really uncomfortable. When we asked for help with a problem in the bathroom, the staff wasn't polite. The communal toilets were untidy.

Liked: The facilities and convenience of this place were great! It's super close to Waverley station and right in the middle of the old town and newtown. Ideal location for sure. Also the bar downstairs is a great place to meet people and offers good food at reasonable prices.

Disliked: The elevator was broken so I had to lug my bag up to the fourth floor. It's not really a big problem as I'm sure it will be fixed soon. The only other problem was that the keycards they have are super temperamental and heaps of people had to go and get their replaced as the doors wouldn't unlock. Also some more light in the chill room would be nice :)

Liked: near to railway staion, but have to walk around 15 mins to the main attraction. free laudary.

Disliked: The staff(night shift) reject to call ambulance for my friend initally, and dont want to offer help. it's not a problem if you do not carry large suitcase, otherwise you have to climb many stair w/ that.

Liked: I liked the 14 bed bedroom. I was a Sherlock Holmes room, nicely decorated and really big. The food in the bar/restaurant down stairs was also really good.

Disliked: I didnt like the fee for the lockers and for the towels.

Liked: Very nice people and location!and very clean!

Disliked: Hopefully we were on a 4 bedded room on the 4 th floor, because there is a lot of noise coming from the bar donwstairs!I advice anyone to ask for that!
