Liked: Friendliest and most helpful staff I've come across. Excellent location and great facilities. Nice clean toilets and showers. Only downside was the lack of electrical plugs..makes drying your hair very difficult as there's no hand dryers either.

Liked: Location is absolutely amazing. Rooms are big and clean. Staff was kind and helpful, some of them were really fun. I would stay there next time I go to Edinburgh.

Liked: Nice site, decent, quiet rooms. Good common areas and breakfast. Bed was rather uncomfy but it was nice to get two pillows.

Liked: The atmosphere the best thing about the hostel. There are free tours from a local company that the staff suggest on arrival which allow you to meet other travelers quite easily. The common rooms also are always full of people so it's easy to meet people staying at the hostel as well. It is not the cleanest hostel I've seen but most people want to get out into the city and explore rather than stay inside anyways! All-in-all this is a good place to stay considering the low price for accommodations.

Liked: It takes only 2 minutes to Edinburgh castle and is very close to other attractions, pubs and restaurants. The interior design is impressive. There is a very large common room. However, the cleanness is just at acceptable level. The receptionist area is very small which might cause inconvenient and uncomfortable check-in, especially if you have to wait for your turn.

Liked: Nice shower and beds. The house is huge and you don't feel the (good) amount of people staying there.The location is brilliant!A hostel that suit everyone, but with 95% youngsters.

Liked: Only stayed on the Thursday Night, went straight on the pub crawl, was awesome and met loads of nice people. The people doing the pub crawls obviously get free drinks for taking the tours, must be a good job to have (not for the liver though!) Apart from that the staff where quite friendly and the rooms were relatively clean. Didnt like the shared toilet though!

Liked: Even though this hostel is situated in the very centre of Edinburgh and is crowded with young backpackers, I had no problems sleeping, as the rooms are well isolated from all possible sounds (even the doors dont make a sound when you close them!) It was very clean, I also liked the locker with a safe I was able to use for free! I had no worries of anything being stolen, even though I shared my room with 12 people! I also liked the bathrooms, including the showers. Everything was just perfect.

Liked: The rooms are big with lockers for each bed which is a plus. The bathrooms and rooms were always clean. Breakfast isn't included but there is a reasonable kitchen for making your own.

Liked: I loved this hostel...very friendly and helpful staff. A really neat atmosphere to meet people and just hang out after a long day of sight seeing. The only downfall is that there are no plugs in the rooms, but you can bring your phone or whatever down and have them charge it at the front desk or in the main lounge. I would definitely recommend that everyone should stay there! It was a fantastic location which is big thing when travelling!
