Cat DavidsonGreat hostel - free breakfast, movies, wii, board games, cheap bar - if we hadn't had a snoring girl in the room, if would have been near perfect :o) |

Trisha PoseyKeycard entry to rooms, free internet and free breakfast. Great kitchen and facilities and a movie room as well! Huge hostel and lots of places to hang out. Would recommend to others and stay here again. Pretty good location off Princes street and a 10-15 minute walk to the old town bridge area. My only big complaint is the noise at night from a club or bar nearby. It was enough to drive me mad and could be heard through my earplugs. Friday night was worse than weeknights for this. |

Customer reviewGreat location, friendly staff, cheap and even the breakfast is included. But that's not all. The in house bar and the beanbag cinema is very cool. It's not all shiny and new but good value for money. |

Customer reviewVery nice staff, spacious rooms, big lockers, good free wifi, good breakfast and can't beat the price! Unfortunately, it gets noisy (mostly) because of the tram works on Princes Street, even during the night. Also, curtains on the windows would be nice... |

Guy LoganGreat location, great aesthetics, great entertainment set up. Average breakfast, average staff friendliness, average bedroom layour (40 bunkbeds to my room) Poor, and I mean gosh-darn-awful-why-the-hell-didn't-I-pay-even-a-few-pounds-more-to-stay-anywhere-else-poor bathrooms. The most disgusting, filthy, poorly-serviced showers and toilets, around one toilet per 30+ people and one shower per 25, cleaned monthly. Apart from the bedbugs and sardine-style bedrooms, this was the worst part of my entire trip. |

Marco MalavisiThe atmosphere of the common rooms is great. Free excellent breakfast with good music is the perfect start for the day. Big kitchen, internet room and the bar...all are fantastic. Rooms are on average..but the common areas make a big difference from many other hostels. |

Customer reviewWell, I just paid 7 or 8 pounds for the night and free breakfast was included which was really nice. Toast, cerials, juice, tee, etc. For me it was rather a breakfast for 7 pounds with free accommodation. Don't expect to be able to get changed when using the "showers" (there ARE two showers, appr. 1sq.meter, next to two "toilets"). So if you just wanna spend one night there so that you can eat their nice breakfast the next morning it's okay but dont expect that it's easy to use kitchen facilities (queues...) or the showers. Even if there's no queue, you might not want to use the showers... euhh ^^ But hey you pay little, you get little, so I wasn't too disappointed and Edinburgh is definately worth a visit!!! ;) |
