Liked: Great location and very friendly staff.

Disliked: Cleanliness was lacking, no toilet rolls and I did have to ask at 10 at night for my bed to be made.

Liked: This hostel was the best. Free computers and wireless, a bar and a nice breakfast. Quiet and the staff was pleased to help us with our journey. No complaints.

Liked: this place is awesome, best hostel ever? free wifi and computers, movie room, breakfast (breads and cereals), luggage storage. cheap bar, fun crowd, city centre of edinburgh, comfy sheets and pillows, pretty clean considering its size, list of free things to see, friendly staff

Disliked: lots of people traveling in groups which can make it harder for solos to mingle, some people didnt like the plastic coated mattresses tho i didnt care

Liked: everything it is one of the best I have had the joy to stay in to date

Disliked: the cooking knifes are all blunt which makes it hard to cook and cut anything . But at least you could never cut your self on them haha

Liked: A great hostel with a very fun atmosphere, free internet and computer use, breakfast included, and great people. Definitely recommended.

Liked: I´d really love all its entertainment facilities. They even have a wii to play and a "cinema" with a good number of films!!!

Disliked: Too few showers for too many people.

Liked: Excellent coffee, if you like good freshly brewed coffee in the morning, then go here.

Disliked: Too big, so big its almost harder to meet people than a smaller place.

Liked: The bar area is a really neat addition to the hostel. It has cheaper alcohol than most bars and has a couple pool tables. The breakfast is one of the best ones I've ever had in a hostel and they wash your dishes for you. The staff can speak many different languages, which makes it easier for people who don't speak english to get there questions answered.

Disliked: I don't think there was a single thing I strongly disliked about this hostel.

Disliked: they put me and my friend (girl) together with a group of 10 men in the same room, they made lots of noice and my friend was uncomfortable with all men in the room.. should not put a large group like that together with just 2 other strangers to them..

Liked: This is the best hostel I have ever stayed at! Very nice common area/bar where it's easy to meet people, free breakfast, very good price for the night and an impressive cinema room! Recommended!

Liked: Good bar. FREE LINEN AND WIFI. Most places charge extortionate amounts for wifi use but this place includes it at no extra cost which is a major bonus when trying to find things to do. Would definitely recommend. Location is more geared towards the shops on Princes St. Most of the good bars and pubs are in Old Town which is a nice 20 min walk or £5 taxi hire.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: nice kitche, facilities, good atmosphere, late check out time i'd like to visit again! best hostel ever

Disliked: shower booth is a little bit uncomfortable because the hanger for hanging my clothes is not in the shower booth so i need to put my stuffs outside of the shower booth though it is still in the toilet or put in the shower booth in plastic bag? but not so much bad when you get used to this..

Liked: interesting, free breakfast with a decent selection which more expensive hostels did not have, good place to stay considering it's a hostel

Disliked: i can only complain that there was no lift and we had to drag our luggage to the very top floor. however the receptionist was very nice and helped me with my luggage

Liked: I loved the rooms! They were spacious and there was a good place to secure your items. The breakfast was AMAZING!

Disliked: The kitchen was very dirty. If you wanted to cook that was not an option because it was stuff everywhere. So you had to eat out if you stayed here.
