What I generally like about hostels are the people. They are easy to talk with and I always feel they are more approachable than at a traditional hotel. While I might miss the privacy, I still prefer the hosel experience. Also, I felt very welcome as an older adult.

offered lots of services for a cheap price: breakfast, cheap internet, free bedding. also, i met so many people in the large common rooms and kitchen. great location as well.

We had a fabulous time here. Loved that the bar is open til 5am. It was awesome value for money. Even though we were in a large dorm room it was still relatively quiet. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again if/when I return to Edinburgh.

Its a community for travelers to meet and learn about one another more than just a place to stay. I really enjoyed staying in one of the larger rooms so that spontaneous people situations would arise, more fun this way. ya
