Liked: This is one of the best hostels i have ever stayed in. They let me check in at 11am which was great because I got to shower and have a rest after my flight. There are computers with fast internet access that you can use anytime for free. There is free breakfast from 6am-12pm which is absolutely great. I could not speak more highly of this place.

Liked: Several cool features: home cinema (the beanbag cinema), laundry room, bar inside the hostel, huge kitchen area, many bathrooms, great wall decoration.

Disliked: Many large groups of people that tend to be very loud. Overall, not a very friendly or cozy place. Not very clean kitchen.

Liked: Good and long free breakfast. Very clean. Big kitchen. They have a movie room and lounge room as well as the bar so really good to chill out, and the bar is great too with cheap drinks. Location is close to the castle and not too far to walk from the bus station.

Liked: Great atmosphere, lovely artworks and the lounge is a superb place to relax and get to know other inmates. Free internet, breakfast and water. What more do you want?

Liked: The atmosphere is really fantastic. It's a very funky, fun place, centrally located in Edinburgh. The staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. Basically, it was one of the nicest hostel experiences I've had.

Disliked: To be honest, nothing. Breakfast was a little spartan but it was a great experience overall.

Liked: Very central.Breakfast between 6 and 12.Good and helpful staff.Nice and colourful decoration.I recomend it to anyone who visits or studyin Edimburgh.

Liked: It's very friendly and artsy - every surface was painted a bright color, and every thing was obviously well taken care of. The bathrooms were SO CLEAN and the showers were hot and wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful, even after I asked a million questions. It's in a very well-lit and safe area of the city - you can see the castle from the front door. Great access to bus stops (even though you can walk everywhere), restaurants, shops - The Grass Market. Really the best place you can stay in Edinburgh - and a wonderful free breakfast!!

Liked: Very nice staff. Good facilities, very big hostel, many people from different places. Very good location.

Disliked: Sheets were not clean enough.

Liked: For a large hostel, the bathrooms and rooms were always very clean.Tons of information on stuff to do in Edinburgh and short city breaks.Free and fast WiFi throughout hostel.

Disliked: It's a party hostel setup - don't expect a quiet nights sleep! Communal showers (No privacy)
