Liked: the FREE tour - although the tour guide didn't explain much. he was pretty much rubbish to be honest but then what do you expect for free eh? there are other free walking tours in the city so that makes up for it. the kitchen was good. place was cleaner than most london hostels of the same price. didn't try the breakfast though - why should anyone when garfunkel's does 2 for £10 full english breakfasts! staff was okay - some more friendly than the rest. mattress was comfortable - i slept well all three nights. no, wait, make that two. one guy snored very loudly one night and kept the whole room awake and annoyed.

Disliked: showers, although quite clean, do get pretty dirty late at night (after the whole floor of ppl have used them). place can probably get cleaners to do it twice a day instead.

Liked: Rooms were bright, spacious and clean. had heaps of bathroom and kitchen facilities as well as good communal areas to relax in.

Liked: The hostel was in a good location, close to the castle and the Royal Mile, where a lot of the shopping areas were located, as well as food and it also gave easy access to most of the sites in the city. The internet is not what I would have hoped for, considering it was paid for, yet didn't work all of the time. Overall, the stay was enjoyable.

Liked: Great place to stay, highly recommended. The staff are all wonderfully helpful and its has a really nice homely feel to it. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and they have great kitchen facilities. The only one tiny negative is that their wireless was down so it was hard to organise anything but apart from that, I love it.

Liked: - The staffs are very helpful, friendly, patient and fast response. - The hostel rooms and all the facilities were in tidy, neat and good conditions. - Suggest hostel to arrange for Female 6 beds, 8 beds sharing room. Understand that, they only have mixed dorm room.- We will highly recommend all my friends to priority choose this hostel.- Thank you for all the staffs, we are appreciate your helpful & friendliness. We really enjoy our trip, we had a lot of funs and special memories in Edinburgh.

Liked: It's the best hostel that I ever stayed in my whole life. Is very close to everything, like pubs, scotland monument and all this things, you can do everything by foot. I really recomend it.
