 it was very cheap and confortable. however, the hostel was a bit cool at night, the heating wasn't enough.

cool to sleep in a kirk once, but it was pretty noisy in the dorms. The private room was excellent, very nice bathroom, fantastic beds. Very nice staff.

I think it's a very nice hostel, the style and concept of the building is very particular, very helpful staff and great atmosphere, it's a great complement if you visit Edinburgh!!!

This place is messy, dirty... the shower has ice water... the toilets are so dirty... Horrible place !!!!

it was a cool place to stay. was within walking distance of the night life although we got a taxi most times.

The place was great, the atmostphere, the building itself was great, individual and full of character but friendly, not at all like I thought staying in an old church would be! The facilities were also good though no free tea :-( hehe excellent showers, we stayed in a few hostels this trip and the showers usually left something be desired but this place had good hot showers and really comfy beds

This hostel was alright. It is in an old church, and rooms are divided by thin walls, oh yeah, there is no ceiling above the dividers, so sleeping is rough because you hear everything that is going on. The staff were helpful, kitchen and bar were great. If you are in a pinch, its a good option.
