The Merith House Hotel is two victorian townhouses, situated in the heart of Scotland's ancient Capital. This family run business is based approximately 1 mile from Waverley Station and Princes Street on an excellent bus route.

The hotel over looks the historic Leith Links where the rules of golf were drawn up and where Mary Queen of Scots learnt the game. A mere 5-10 minutes away from many excellent restaurants bars and wine bars and of course the former Royal Yacht Britannia in the exciting new developments of the old port of Leith nearby.

Edinburgh has one of the most beautiful cityscapes in the world, making it the ideal city break destination. With Scotland's most famous castle dominating the city skyline, there is plenty to see and do with the perfect balance between all things traditional and contemporary.

Discover world-class museums and galleries, take a tour on an open-top bus or even visit the city's own zoo. From the world famous Festivals to top-class restaurants and bars, not to mention fabulous shopping, you'll be spoilt for choice.
