the common room is fine but there are not enough shower rooms for all the girls.(two only) the good thing is it is an environmental friendly hostel... with friendly reminders everywhere!

Location. Simple, but this hostel has everything you need.
The staff were very friendly, but during the evening at times I was uncertain to whom were actually staff members. This creates uncertainty which leaves you thinking about your safety.

It was right on the Royal Mile, great location- just across from the Haggis tour office and down the street from the Edinburgh castle. It had a very friendly atmosphere, big couches, kitchen with a microwave, big tables, little fridges.
