Liked: Cute and cosy. Staff were great. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate :)

Disliked: It was quite small, especially the common area. Kinda of a good thing too however :)

Liked: Very helpful staff. Clean hostel. The lounge is simply so beautiful. Impressed by the effort the staff puts to keep the hostel clean and tidy. Will definitely recommend the hostel to anyone.

Liked: Interesting names for each room/bed. Situated conveniently to get to different areas of interest in Edinburgh. Free lockers available in the room Shower facilities were good - basket to put toiletries, hooks to put clothes, shower curtain, strong hot water

Disliked: Top bunk bed does not have latch and it's slightly taller than the usual bunk bed, seems a bit dangerous to sleep up there if you are the type who toss and turn in your sleep.

Liked: A fantastic location, friendly staff, locked rooms. Very clean bathrooms, they check on them obsessively (much appreciated!)

Disliked: Kitchen is small and user unfriendly. Also, the luggage room is pretty unsupervised. It felt like anyone could walk in, grab a bag and walk out. No communal computer (but there are several internet cafes within a short walk).

Liked: It was really really friendly! The staff were great, and the atmosphere and layout meant that guests were friendly and able to socialize. Location was GREAT! Couldn't have asked for anything better!

Liked: It was funky and fun, with a great central location. Nothing is too far to walk to from here. Also, there was a staff member whom I didn't catch her name but she was from Ireland, she was so awesome and helpful.

Disliked: The only complaint is how to get on the top bunk, it just takes practice though.

Liked: Cosy, warm and nice beds. Perfectly located, nice atmosphere. Small and intimate. Very helpful staff!

Disliked: Only two showers for ladies, not very well-equipped kitchen.

Liked: Very-very-very-very close to attractions & train station.

Disliked: I was given a very bad smelly towel, I bet they washed the towel together with dirty kitchen towels. I swear that I'll bring my own towel on next stay!

Liked: location is so so good. 5 min. walking distance to the castle. i am not sure is it a "like" for this hostel but, i like the room and bed names. i.e. my room is Addiction, and bed is Drugs. (the other ones are sex, chocolate,cigarette, t,... ) its funny :)

Disliked: noting, maybe price.

Liked: The staff were lovely and very well organised. The atmosphere was very relaxing and also very comfortable to be a part of. The location was amazing for our trip to Scotland.

Disliked: Mirrors in the rooms would have been nice, and powerpoints in the bathroom. Other than that nothing.

Liked: Very cozy, big dorm room.

Disliked: shower wasn't the best because one time I couldn't get the hot water.

Liked: You can't ask for a better location! The Staff were friendly and helpful and the hostel is one I would definitely recommend to anyone. Well done and thanks!
