Liked: Staff really friendly and pleased to help.Free internet and coffee.Really close to the Royal Mile and different places to go out.Wonderful Kitchen and bathroom at each floor!Bad thing: A club is located across the street with music in the open air. Windows couldn't stop the sound at all.

Liked: There was a problem in the booking, we had to change room every night!!! And leave our luggage at the reception. Moreover they didn't have a private double bedroom for the second night as I booked, but a twin room... People from our flat were very noisy and knocked at our room the whole night, why didn't anybody say something? Finally, it is situated in front a pub with loud music till 1.00 am (we had to get up at four the last day to catch our plane, so it was impossible to sleep). To conclude, it is a good place, clean, well-located and cheap, if you want to spend a good week-end in the city and go out at night, 'cause you can't sleep a lot!

Liked: I honestly didn`t like anything about the properly. We would have change hostels if we could have gotten a refund because the heater didn`t work in our room, the sheets were dirty, and the black mould all on one wall.

Liked: Very noise neighborhood, especially the pub opposite. It is usually open till 3 a.m, horrible to sleep. In a room is nothing except beds to sleep.

Liked: very very dirty...a lot of noise because the hostel is located in a big street where there is a lot of traffic and bars...very bad beds... so it s difficult to have a good night here.

Liked: Well, the location is very good and the staff is very friendly and helpful and the showers did have hot water. BUT the room was really dirty, and the bed didn't have a proper mattress, you could feel the springs in the bed. The heat wasn't working properly, the room was damp. They say "stylish apartments", not that stylish, believe me.

Liked: We booked a private room and turned up on time to be told the room was not ready and to return two hours later. We returned at 14:30 and were told the room was still not ready (Checkout is 10AM so we found this difficult to understand - How long can it take to change the sheets on 4 beds?)However we were told that there was another room we could use - However this was a shared room, a fact the receptionist failed to tell us when giving us the keys and letting go find the room. We were not offered a refund in the difference in price between the originally booked 4 bed dorm for our party and the 6 bed dorm we had to stay in. The beds were very old, squeaked all through the night and were very uncomfortable.
