You can take a 5 minute walk from Chalmers Bed & Breakfast to Ayr's LOVELY SANDY BEACH where you can enjoy BEAUTIFUL VIEWS of the Isle of Arran, Ailsa Craig and beyond.
From the seafront, follow the promenade southwards to the River Doon estuary or in the direction northwards to the mouth of the River Ayr passing the KIDDIES PLAY AREA, INDOOR POOL and LEISURE CENTRE.

Sporting facilities are plentiful with LEISURE and SPORTING centres, golfing, fishing, indoor bowling and ten pin bowling. NATIONAL BOWLING Tournaments are held locally at Northfield Bowling Complex and you can visit Scotland's Premier Racecourse at Ayr throughout the year.
