 If you search for a quiet hostel with gentle and helpful stuff, the Aberdeen Youth Hostel will be the right choice for you. Although the interior is not up-to-date or what one would call "modern", the dormitories and beds, as well as the lounge areas, are comfortable and welcoming. All the facilities provided, i.e. the fully equipped kitchen, the laundry or the reading room are of a small size and have quite a familiar flair, but that, altogether with the building's rather charming granite achitecture, is the hostel's greatest strenght. I enjoyed my one-night-stay.
