Liked: Location

Disliked: Always having to climb to to the higher floors with baggage. This Hostel ls a bit sparten and very old fashioned. A private room is too expensive.

Disliked: The location is a good 15 minute walk from downtown. Seems to be out there a ways.

Liked: A normal hostel as you expect it. Thanks for opening the door at 4am :-)

Disliked: The windows cannot be opened even in the upper floors.

Liked: It was clean

Disliked: Some of the guest were locals. Kind of weird. A lot of older people. Not a good place to meet other young travelers. No organized activities.

Liked: As it was mid-week, mid-winter the staff made a effort to make sure that guests were spread out across the rooms -- i.e. had a choice of top/bottom bunk. The rooms were also very warm, and guests were able to control the dial on the radiators.

Disliked: While the rooms are always locked and accessed using secure swipe cards, there are no lockers within the room to store valuable personal possessions.

Liked: Friendly staff, huge kitchen and nice bedrooms. I would definetly recommend this hostel to Aberdeen visitors.

Liked: The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The living room is nice.

Disliked: The shower is quite poor and the rooms are not the best. Besides, you have nothing to put your stuff in...

Liked: Staff were really friendly, the rooms were warm and secure, with plenty of storage space available. The kitchen was huge, large dining and recreation areas, friendly guests.There is a bus-stop right outside taking you to town/anywhere.

Disliked: The wifi was £3 for 1hr, you have to activate your access card every day after 12.. meaning a return to the hostel before you go out for the night, but even if you don't, the staff are friendly enough to activate it for you even at 2am! The smoking area is only covered by a tree, so in the very common rain, you will get rather damp!

Liked: good kitchen, nice big common areas for meeting people, warm.

Disliked: not that good value for money, it would be nice to have free wifi at least.
