Liked: Extremely helpful staff and plenty of facilities. Walls were a little thin and more showers would be an advantage but a very welcoming place to stay. I would definitely recommend it.

Liked: nice and very helpful staff. Owner speaks German too :-)The description for the arrival might be a little confusing, if you follow the instructions on the website. If you take the metro be prepared for a at least 30 min. walk, which is by the way a great detour. THe best option is to take one of the described trolleybuses. Buy the tickets on the bus-14 rubles per person. Be prepared to speak Russian! Tell the conductor guy the name of your station and he will probably tell you when to get off the bus.

Liked: We had a fantastic stay at Europe Asia hostel. I love the homely feel of the place. Very warm and cozy in the -20 winter climate! Friendly and generous hosts. Good transport connections. Free wifi for the geek in all of us. Kitchen with everything you need. Excellent bed . Like being back in New Zealand on ice!Thanks europe-Asia hostel for a most enjoyable stay!

Liked: This hostel was quite far from the centre (much further than I expected) and was difficult to find, as the directions for the bus were unhelpful.

Liked: the guys who run it were very accomodating (we arrived and left very early in the morning and they were good about this.) Their own website is a bit misleading though - the nice picture of the Ikea sofa has nothing to do with the hostel!

Liked: Just like staying at a friends house-a friend who cooks a lovely breakfast! Great for a quiet night in after seeing the city during the day- very comfortable and with a communual laptop and dvd player with many english titles. And the beds are extremely comfortable!

Liked: The girls who work there keep the place spotless. The atmosphere is very friendly and homey. Alex is very helpful and answers all your questions readily. We really liked it there.

Liked: Bunk beds the most comfortable in 6 months of travelling, free breakfast was fantastic (russian style sausage omlette, bread, cheese and orange juice) and the use of 3 computers for internet (which considering there are only 6 beds is a good ratio!). Great location, not in centre of town but by trolley bus stop and supermarket. Owner really friendly if a little disorganised but we certainly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend it!

Liked: We had great time here!! Owner is sympatic and helpfull.... We met his mother and she is very kind too!! The place is not to big... but at 5 in the dormitory it is still ok!! The owner is offering to accompagn you to some point of interest out of the city... I think his price is quite fair. We went for a big walking day in the Oural (not big mount ....only old one) It was a very beautiful day... with very beautiful landscapes.... and a river where you can swim!

Liked: Europe Asia is a good place to stop for the friendliness of the owner who cant do enough for you, but the location isnt great. In fact the location is that bad that I actually spent a couple of hours trying to find it. This is the only down point that I have though and as long as you have the address you can always get a taxi to it if you get lost. Yekaterinburg doesnt have many hostels in fact at last checking it has two so it is a relatively new concept there but well worth visiting and if you do decide to go then I would recommend this place.

Liked: This hostel has GREAT breakfast cooked by the owner himself. Staff comunication and hospitability are also great. Very confortable beds and quiteness for resting. Location could be a little bit closer to the center and easier to find but all is overcome by good bus accessibility.
