Liked: Excellent location - room was a little cramped and showers / toilets were VERY cramped but the whole hostel was very clean and the staff helpful.

Liked: Very nice location, near to the Isaak Cathedral and to the Ermitage. Very clean and the staff was great/healpful. I would recommend this location to everyone!

Liked: i rented a private room. it was a fantastic location, and an easy walk from the nevsky metro. the room was spotless. there is a nice kitchen you can use. free internet in the lobby. bbc on the telly. fwiw the metro has escalators! i had to pay double on the metro because of my bags. still really cheap.

Liked: I liked the free storage lockers and internet station--though only one of the two was working. Also the staff were helpful and the place was clean. Dorms were small though and with no breakfast or real common area it seems a bit expensive at 40 Euros--but it is admittedly a fantastic location so I recommend it. Save 30 or 40 Euros--from Pulkovo 2 take the bus 13 to Moskovskaya and catch the metro to Nevsky Prospekt and walk the rest of the way, it's not difficult.
