It was clean, comfortable and close to the metro station. Very good value for money. The only real problem was the 1am curfew.

Close to the center by tube. Not very comfy rooms but OK for the standard. Practical and useful.

Very cheap in comparison with other hostels in Saint Petersburg, all the more since they offer free visa registration ! The location is ok, 10 minutes walk from a subway station, on the line leading to the very center (20 minutes in the subway).
Bad things are that Internet is not free and even quite expensive, as the laundry.

Great place for backpackers. Near to the one of the biggest streets in Petersburg (what is helpful when you come back late, when metro is closed - by taxi or even hitchiking ;). Close to the restaurant with good and cheap food. Small supermarket just in front. Staff very helpful.
I recommed this hostel!

The staff were friendly and helpful, the laundry service is superb - fast and good value, and they didn't get angry when we partied in the kitchen till 3am.

The staff are exceptionally caring and dutiful.
As a foreigner it is unlikely you will be put in a room full of Russians.
