Liked: The location was great, very near subway and bus stops that got you up and down Nevsky Prospect quickly. Either way its an interesting walk up Nevsky to get to all the major sites! The beds were comfortable and they provide lockers with chargers INSIDE them, which is AWESOME. There is a computer available for use with internet, for those not carrying a laptop (they have free wireless). I was travelling on my own and I met many other people at the lounge area. The hostel is small enough to give the feeling that you are hanging with a big group of friends!

Disliked: The entrance of the building is kinda dodgy looking, but once you get up to the hostel entrance the vibe changes.

Liked: absolutely one of the best hostels i have ever stayed in. the staff great, other backpackers great, everything great. do yourself a favour and stay here.

Disliked: nothing, well maybe the beer fridges need to be a little colder. it's as close to a perfect hostel as you can get.

Liked: The staff go out of their ways to make your stay better! Thank's a lot!

Disliked: Location could be better, but it is not a huge problem, in special if you have to take the train to Moscow.

Liked: Soul kitchen was like a home in St Petersburg, loved that we captor wash our clothes, got breakfast & towel/linen hire is all included in the price of our bed. They even had little clothes lines for you to borrow. The beds were comfy & had all the little perks you like, for example a little shelf for each bed & power points in the lockers!

Disliked: Only thing I would suggest is individual reading lights for each bed, a nice touch in other hostels I really appreciate

Disliked: Only two showers and two toilets but 26 beds.

Liked: The staff are fantastic! They have even been helping me after I left which has been awesome. This is one of the best hostels I have stayed at.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Nicely arranged; colourful; by the metro/railway/key bus stops - excellent location - lots of restaurants nearby; quiet at night; tasty breakfast; different activities, announced on the notice board

Disliked: I wish there was a separate bathroom for the double room.

Liked: Great hostel, it has everything and the atmosphere is great. People working in the hostel is very friendly and also creates great atmosphere in the hostel. Totally recommended,

Liked: The hostel staff is friendly, young, and speaks English. I love the hostel and I feel at home once I walk in the door. Everything is so clean and the decor is so fun! Met some great and fun people here!

Disliked: It was a little far away from everything else, but very close with a bus ride or metro station away. It was well worth it.

Liked: Funky, small but good place to meet people. Close to the train station (I had some lovely Russian students lead me right to the hostel). Free washing machine and powder (with drying racks, no dryer). Kitchen, free wifi, free international calls. Breakfast included.

Disliked: The showers and toilets were right near the common room. Because it's small the rooms are close to the common room so it can get a bit noisy if you're trying to sleep at night. A long walk to the Hermitage, but doable, or there's the metro close by.

Liked: The staff was amazing! On top of that it has to be one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at.

Liked: Because it isn't on the main street it's reasonably quiet from street noise. Free basic breakfast. Free internet.

Disliked: I requested registration of my passport and was told they would not do it since I was staying less than 7 days. The walls are very thin so if you are in a 6 bed dorm it is very loud from kitchen noise and loungeroom noise. Hard to find, the directions are a bit vague.

Liked: All the staff do their best and are always ready to help. Wi-fi is fast & free. You get one beer for free if you stay for 3+ nights. Really enjoyed that place!

Disliked: Nothing to complain.

Liked: The staff are super-friendly and helpful, facilities are very good with comfortable beds, lockers, hot showers and a common room with tv, dvd's, books and board games. The best part however is the people you meet there.

Disliked: Can be a bit noisy at night.
