Liked: Only for other Sabrina B&B. This one was totaly another level of accomodation. Not like the first "squat" wit name Sabrina hostel.

Disliked: mess with booking, untidy, it is not possible to find the hostel without flight pictures from google.... (No block number, no name on the ring.... nothing, which can help you to find it even you are in front of the doors.

Liked: The good location, the room mates, the receptionist if there was one who could speak english ...

Disliked: It is very hard to find, there are no signs and the description how to find the hostel isn't such good. It took us hours to find the hostel. The entrance to the hostel is in a backyard. The house on the other side of the backyard was really rundown and I was afraid that there we fall some stone's down on our heads. There was no fresh linen on the bed and you couldn't open all the windows, so it was quiet hot.

Liked: Totally worth the money, do not be intimidated by the exterior, the inside of the hostel is very very nice.

Disliked: I guess there is some sort of communication barrier among staff members because when their shift changes, the message does not go across.

Liked: It's cheap and the breakfast is very good (you can take how much you want - it's home made and typical Russian). The rooms and the shower and toilets are clean. The location is not bad.

Disliked: I was locked out in the night even though the staff said to me that the door is always open. So I went out and didn't take any phone number of the hostel with me - I was expecting I could get in anytime. But I came home at 4 am. and had a really bad cold and could not get in because the front door was locked. It was raining... I tried to knock with stones and several things to make really loud noise for about one hour and no one answered. So I went to the neighbour house - which was really really bad looking, almost breaking down - and set there on the steps for about another hour. At 6 am. I tried to open the door again - didn't work. Suddenly I saw some neighbours in the neighbour appartment. They first asked me if I don't have a phone number - I didn't have. Then one of the men said he knows, he will call someone. Some minute later a young men opened the door from inside the building in which is also the hostel. It was really mysterious because after that I rang the door bell and the lady from the hostel opened the door and hadn't known that the front door was closed. She asked me who had opened the door and didn't know the person... So, it's very bizarr... And I think if I hadn't been able to speak a little bit of Russian I couldn't get into the hostel at 6 am. but maybe after breakfast when someone had left the hostel... Moreover, the Internet (in the lobby) didn't work, which was written on the hostelbookers page. The hostel was more than 3 min away from Sennaya ploshad - that's how the way to the hostel was described on the website. It's maybe 6 or 7 minutes away if you walk really fast! Moreover the bus doesn't go directly to Sennaya ploshad but you have to change to metro after taking the bus from the airport and go there by metro which is not described on the page. I had to ask some people to find out. And someone removed some of my food from the fridge! It was really strange because I had a plastic bag in the fridge and some of the things in the bag were removed... I think it was maybe the staff or some other people (the apples didn't look so well anymore but anyway: It was my food!!!). There is - I think - just one English speaking staff - and just during the day! (in the afternoon maybe - I just saw her once when I checked in)

Liked: Excellent breakfast, rather clean, very helpful and friendly staff.

Disliked: Private room that I booked was not private. I requested the room with 5 private beds for my family and was given the bunkbeds for 9. The bathrooms and showers were shared among all the guests of the 2d floor. This is not quite my idea of "private room". The beds were so hard it was difficult to fall asleep and the sheets didn't seem to be very fresh. I hope they were changed after previous guests.

Liked: overall, the room and bathroom are clean and neat, which are the most i care about

Disliked: could not connect to the wi-fi, and there is only one computer for all travellers

Liked: The cleanliness was ok and there was enough showers and toilets.

Disliked: The staff wasn't that helpful and was actually gone at night when we were supposed to have a ride to train station and our passports were at their locker. Then only with help of other people who were staying there we found someone who could open the locker.

Liked: Very very helpful staff. Good kitchen. Free fast internet (only one computer though). Cheap.

Disliked: No special atmosphere. Little bit too warm in the summer in the big dorm.

Liked: It was like feeling at home.almost every thing was good, clean, safe. It also had good location. the breakfast was quiet acceptable. maybe it just needed some english speaking staff in the night shift.

Disliked: Nothing.It was just perfect.

Liked: Excellent location, spacious bathroom, coffee and water (delicious St. Petersburg water) available.

Disliked: Only a very few members of staff spoke English, there was no wifi available, though the flat was under construction and they assured me that had I been there a week later, it would have been provided. How wonderful. Walls are a bit thin.

Liked: We had a twin room and it was large and spacious with a tv.

Disliked: It's a delapidated building. Lots of steps. and felt more like a halfway house than a backpackers hostel.

Liked: Only one remark: It was a problem with overbooking, but staff solved this problem in few minutes amd gave us a discount for the inconvenience. Very nice and clean place! 15 min. from metro station.
