Liked: Big room, very helpfull staff.The bathroom had an "computer" shower. It took some to to find out how to get it working. The bathroom could be nicer.The breakfast was minimalistic, but nice. Good start into the day. Touristic infos were given by the staff. Also a good city map for free!It was had to find the hostel on first day.

Liked: its absolutelly in the center of st petersburg, for 8 euros/night we got a bed, hot water, valuable breakfast and to tickets to the russian museum (after 5 nights). value for the money, nothing else.

Liked: This place is tucked away in a dingy passageway that is not easy to find. The building is rundown and in real need of repair with broken stairs, etc. The room I was in had a large broken fishtank in it that had started to smell quite bad as the plants rotted. The linen was old and thin but the beds were not too uncomfortable. The staff while friendly enough spoke no English at all so communication was quite difficult.On the positive side there was fast free internet, the location was decent, the staff were reasonably helpful and the breakfast was good.I would not stay there again and would not recommend this place to anyone I know.

Liked: I didnt expect much, since i read the other peoples comments but I was positively surprised. It is very well located and the rooms are clean. Staying at hostel sabrina is not the worst thing to do. I felt safe and it is clean and you get breakfast. Althought not everyone speaks english we always worked things out! But the hostel is not easy to find, dont be afraid to go into the rarebuilding - thats where the hostel is located.

Liked: The room was alright, although it was full of mosquitoes when I stayed there, even after I closed the windows and had the staff spray insect repellent throughout the room. I ended up nursing numerous insect bites on my arms and legs, after a fitful sleep whereby I kept hearing mosquitoes buzzing by my ear.Only one member of the staff could speak English, and he was only around in the evening. The hostel did not have any maps to give to guests.Breakfast was rather sumptuous. The hostel's visa support (invitation) was very quick and efficient, and reasonably priced (EUR 20).

Liked: The only thing that is good about the place are the other travellers and they were really fun. Everybody was complaining about the place but they were mostly in their twenties and just got on with their holiday, no matter what.I seemed to be the only one with a mattrass thicker than one inch.

Liked: It is really value for money, the location is close to everything, great breakfast, but they dont take creditcards even if it says so on the websight. It is a simple but perfect place if you dont want to spend all your money on living. Many good restaurants in the neighborhood.

Liked: It's a good place for the location and price but the staff don't speak English, and sometimes you need it. The hotel (it is a flat) is clean but the stairs are very dirty.

Liked: Do not lose time looking after another hostel, this is the place really value its money. And the very good breakfast include: eat and drink coffe or tea how much you want. very nice staff. But it is not true that is only 3 min. walk to the metro station Sadovaya, it is 5 ;-)))
