 very friendly and helpful staff (we asked for a football match - they looked up in the internet, called friends,.... they found out all the information we needed)

Igor (the person in charge) is a extrem good source of information. He speaks english very well and is able to handle anything (from directions, to train tickets, visa support, etc.). Rooms are currently under renovation (as are the facilities) and in a few weeks this will a new, friendly and superb place to stay. Price is ok.

the best thing about this hostel is definitely the staff... olga and alex were great fun and incredibly helpful, thanks guys! The others also really helped us out, especially getting to the hostel from the airport which can be extremely difficult.. This hostel definitely made my stay in Moscow, thanks!

Staff spoke English and they were very helpful (in a Russian way, of course, don't wait for big American style smiles. However, they were caring when we had problems and questions to ask.) The kitchens were also clean. It would be even better if there were fridges in both kitchens. The hostel was safe, but the lack of a locker room bothered us anyway.

Nice and freshly renovated, simple but comfortably and calm rooms in the center of Moscow.
But watch out at night - as it is in a calm back part of big streets - one of us was robbed in front of the main door. Nothing really badly happened- just a cheap camera and some personal things were stolen... This could have happened everywhere in the world so I remmoned this place without no doubt.

i liked because it really helped me to stay 1 night and the people i met helped me a lot. i met some interestnig people and just enjoyed my short stay. The location is quite good.
anyways, to this hostel I give 4,5 out of 5 points.
bad conditions were the shower and a little bit of mess and loud outside the room!

The rooms were clean, the facilities were good and the english-speaking lady running the place was very friendly (rare in Moscow!) and she was ready to help.

The hostel had a really friendly staff that was always willing to give suggestions or just make conversation. The facilities were always clean and even stylish (from time to time.)

15mins walk from Kremlin, good layout, best value in Russia. Definitely recommend.

VERY friendly and knowledgeable staff. When I ended up having to stay another day in Moscow (because of a pickpocketing incident), they even made me breakfast in the morning, invited me to eat with them, and figured out how I should deal with not having a visa on exit from Russia (which took some effort).
I also met some really great people here. I can't figure out how it happened that this hostel particularly fosters that, but I've stayed in bunches of hostels by now and Godzilla's really did seem to have a great mix of folks there.
