Liked: The guest was helpfull and there is free internet.

Disliked: There were no lockers in the room and I meet few people which belongings (winter jacket, laptop, etc) have been stolen. There are enough toilets and showers.

Liked: This is a great hostel. Good location, great staff (Particulally Olya on the front desk and Scott the manager.) but so comfortable. The TV room and the kitchens are a great place to meet people, the layout is just so effective for socialising. The place has no bar but people get beers from the off licence and chat in the TV room. There is a massive list of films you can ask to watch on the widescreen TV room (Mostly in English but not all.).

Disliked: Absolutly nothing.

Liked: Very very clean, nicely decorated, really good shower.Very helpful young reception staff - especially Kate.Good fairly central location, and the hostel itself feels safe, though the quickest route from the Metro to the hostel should only be taken in daylight.

Disliked: Godzillas wrongly processed our booking - we booked for September and they processed it for August. When I e-mailed before we were due to arrive to confirm the booking, with the booking number and my name, Scott replied simply saying they had no record of my booking but I could still book if I wanted. When I checked my credit card statement and saw the deposit and a no-show fee had been taken in August, I realised what happened, though it should have been the hostel who did this. The mistake in processing the booking was unacceptably careless in the first place, and it was very irresponsible of Scott not to investigate my e-mail properly. (Fortunately I spoke and e-mailed with Kate who sorted everything out). Also, they keep quiet that they charge 600 rubles to register your Visa, and don't tell you that if you're in Moscow for less than three business days you don't have to register- sneaky and expensive.

Liked: great place, clean and friendly staff

Disliked: confusing room rates depending on when and where you booked rooms. despite operating in russia all prices are in US $. No air con, very warm

Liked: It is all pretty new and modern. It is forbidden to consume alcohol in the common areas which again helps the hostel to keep the house nice and clean.

Liked: Super clean and really helpful staff. Really nice atmosphere.

Disliked: Not many showers for the number of people but this is really the only thing I can think of - a really great hostel.

Liked: - All staff were extremely nice, smiling and helpful (quite a feat in Moscow!)- The place is quite central (in Moscow terms). It takes about 45 minutes walk to get to Red Square, otherwise there's a metro stop at 5-10min walk.- Our room was very clean and nice (no A/C though), lockers in the room (BYO lock), free wifi in all floors.

Liked: I stayed in a 4 bed dorm and really liked it. Everything was clean, the kitchen was great, the shower new and clean. The DVD collection was a plus. It has a supermarket close by, and free wi-fi which is great.

Disliked: Location is good but its a good walk to the tourist area - if that is where you want to go. The walls are thin and so if people are partying in the kitchens you can hear everything. It says no alcohol but they don't check on that.

Liked: The location was great, the staff were wonderful, the hostel itself was very clean and well-run, and the rooms, kitchen and bathrooms were nicely furnished.

Liked: This is possibly the best hostel I have stayed in. The staff are incredibly helpful. They helped me book train tickets online from Moscow to St Petersburg, offered to write a note to the ticket attendents in Russian, they helped find locations on a map. Much needed help and comfort in a country that doesn't make it easy for tourists. The facilities are clean and very comfortable, the showers are really nice, there is everything you will need for a comfortable stay. I would recommend this hostel to anyone instantly. Its more like a hotel than a hostel.

Liked: Nice, clean place with great decor. Not the best for meeting people though, not the best vibe for a hostel. Staff were helpful but not very knowledgeable, they didn't even know about the cloakrooms for bags when visiting Lenin!

Liked: The staff here were extremely helpful, even if the owner was a little over eager to answer all the questions before the staff could respond. The place was really clean and nice, and the lounge area was a cool place to meet other travelers. However there was never a lighter for the gas stoves... annoying but my life went on. Overall highly recommended.

Liked: Great location, clean, equipped kitchen and English speaking, helpful stuff available for 24hrs. Free internet and WI-Fi.The bed was made from cheep materials and a microwave oven would have been nice, but otherwise than that it had all we needed. Not a fun place, which did not bother me cos I stayed inside only to sleep shower and eat. Would stay there again and would recommend it.

Liked: Very friendly atmosphere and lots of people to meet and see the sights wih. A very good spot if you are going to get the trans siberian, lots of tour groups meet here. The third floor kitchen is a bit rickety but all in all the hosel is very good.
