 Free Internet 24h/day, good location (less then 2 blocks from good metro station, 5-7 min walk to the Kremlin).

Good characters, the hostel is set up in such a way that it makes it easy to mingle with your fellow traveller and meet people. Made new friends here which is always a good thing.

Extremely friendly staff. They assisted us with all our questions regarding and were knowledgeable about area.
(one note: in Sept. 2008 the 2nd shower was being renovated; I assume this will be complete shortly)

Good place to stay in a city where accommodation is expensive. No sign of Dennis anywhere though

Cleanliness of the hostel. Staff was helpful.

great value for money in such an expensive city: the position is simply fantastic, place is clean and staff very kind. only remarks: perhaps too many beds for room and just one bathroom

Hostel is really relaxed, the owner is helpfull and speaks fluently English. Everything is clean, beds are good and people relaxed. This is a hostel were some older people slept when I was there and i liked that a lot.. no drunk people hanging around! 5 minute walk from red square!

Dennis, the owner, was an absolute champion. He helped us with so many things like booking train tickets or finding us ice hockey matches to go see, and all for free. Location wise it is perfect, just a few minutes walk from Red Square and in easy walking distance of metro stops on a number of lines. 2 clean and excellent bathrooms, free internet as well as a great wireless connection.

This hostel has only been open two months and already it is getting large amounts of bookings through word of mouth. It is a great place to meet people and Dennis, the owner is a great chap who is as helpfull as you can get, even booking my train tiockets on his credit card. Up there with teh best hostels I have stayed in.
