this was a great place to stay - i don't think you could ask for a better place in Moscow. Alex the owner is so friendly and helpful. A v short walk to red square and the metro. I highly recommend staying here if you visit moscow.

Alex, the guy running the hostel, is very nice and relaxed and helpful - we stayed only one night this time but will certainly be back for a longer stay.

It was a really cool place to stay and to meet lots of really friendly people - including the guy who ran it - Aliek and his cat Vasily, and if I ever return to Moscow I will definitely try and stay there again. I would also recommend it to anyone who was looking for somehwere to stay in Moscow.

Alex was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and furmished to a high standard. It is more rooms in a nice appartment with great facilities than a hostel. The location is also excellent. There are good restaurants nearby and red square is a 15 minute walk away.

Alex is a wonderfull guy who runs this absolutely top located little hostel in an communist like area. Modern accomodation with even a washing machine and a little kitchen!

Excellent location and how Friendy and trusting the manager oleg was. We had free internet and no hidden extras will defintely stay again if we're in moscow.

Alex was very helpful and nothing appeared to be too big a problem to him re assisting his clients. We stayed in the hostel which has the three bedrooms and all rooms appear to be OK.. The room we stayed iin was quite large. the bathroom and kitchen facilities are adequate.No problems recommending this hostel.

Great location, only 10 minutes from Red Square. Alex was a great host. He was very helpful and almost always around.

Great location in Kitaj Gorod, right at the city center of Moscow, 10 minutes straight walk to Kremlin. There is WiFi internet for personal computers, and in addition, one laptop for all in the hostel, and this one is mostly free to use and not occupied.
It's a better place for smokers, than non smokers, though, that has to be said.

Amazing atmosphere and very fun people. Perfect location. Will definitely go back! Alex who runs it makes it feel like you are just hanging out at his house.

The owner was wonderful, the location superb. I enjoyed its small and intimate size - I had a large room in an apartment and only for one night, so not a party atmosphere. But I would return.
