Liked: The staff were relaxed at friendly. It was a small hostel and felt a bit homely. Resident eccentric cat was a plus!

Liked: Very cozy and quiet with few guests and a friendly cat. Free internet access. Great location 5 minutes walk from metro and 10 minutes walk to Red Square.

Liked: This place was so homely! Oleg is friendly and helpful and the location of the hostel is excellent. Kitai Gorod is a really nice part of town; there are plenty of places to eat/drink nearby. It's walking distance (15 mins walking slowly?) to the places like Red Square but the hostel is on a pereulok, so it's not so noisy and I felt safe there. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Vasya (the cat) is adorable, prowling around everywhere. I met some great people there - the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and I would definitely recommend it to another person, or stay there again when I am next in Moscow!

Liked: Located near the Kitay-Gorod metro, a couple of hundred feet away from the Red Square, the ancient building that houses the Nova hostel has a magnificent facade and a very traditional atmosphere. The apartment itself, overlooking some of the historical architectural gems of Moscow, is clean and offers all facilities one could expect. The staff is friendly and helpful, reflecting the general atmosphere of this pleasantly welcoming and intricate culture. There's a catch though, you have to say you're allergic to cats to make sure you stay at this apartment instead of the main hostel facility.

Liked: Great value for the money! Located in one of the nicest areas in Moscow, many clubs and bars around; only a few minutes to the next Metro station; small supermarket next to hostel open until 23h (and another 24h over the street). Shared, clean kitchen with fridgerator, possibility to cook, table to sit at and so on. Internet for free. Our room also had TV, DVD player (although who is coming to moscow watching DVDs...;). Alex, the guy running the hostel, is very friendly and helpful and made our stay even more fun! We were fully satisfied, you get a great "appartment" for small money. Thank you! Liked: Great location, very clean/correct/cosy place and friendly staff. Overall, the perfect place if you're looking for a nice base to discover Moscow and have a good home to return to in the evening.

Liked: Good location not far from Red Square / Kremlin / subway, helpful owner, some safety provided by doors with keys to access the apartment. Had luck as it didn't get completely full of guests, so I felt comfortable.

Liked: - verry helpful staff: they even helped us after our stay when we stood at wrong airport bij calling taxi;- staff trusted us from beginning on;- room was very clean and spatious for 3 people.
