Liked: Well,totally speaking,the hostel is not bad,good location,nice staffs,it's just that cat jumped on my bed and waked me up several times at the night...anyway,it's cheap and convenient for DIY treavellers.

Liked: Extremely nice apartment with private rooms and shared facilities. The hostel is really close to the Red square and to the metro sation. Everything is clean. It's gota a nice kitchen and provides two laptops for internet use and wirelless connection. The owner, Alex, speaks perfect english, and he's very friendly and helpful. If I ever go back to Moscow I'll definitely try to book at Nova Hostel.

Liked: The owner Alex was very friendly and helpful as was the cat! Good selection of extras - towels provided, tea in the kitchen etc... Alex pointed us towards where to eat & go out.

Liked: The location is excellent and the price too.It is not a conventional hostel, pero a person who is renting some rooms of his apartment. The place is very clean and confortable, the amosphere very nice.I would definitely go again to the same place.

Liked: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Nova. The hostel was very cosy and it felt homely. I was made to feel very welcome by the owner and his cat and both were very helpful. I have stayed in six hostels in the last 4 weeks and this was by the best and excellent value for money. The location is great too. Highly recomended.

Liked: Very well located, nearly 10min from the Red Square. The dorms are cosy and quite warm in the winter (!!)The owner Alex was great - very helpful, no stress.Metro nearby... and cheap for westerners. I enjoyed

Liked: Nova Hostel is so lovely, it s like your home, safety, clean...And most important thing you won't feel alone to yourself in moscow... When you need some favor "OLEG" is ready to help you... Location is so great it s in the center Moscow easy to find .... For sure I recommend Nova Hostel...I think if I come to Moscow again just I stay in this place... Special thanks to Oleg again

Liked: Nice place to stay in order to visit Moscow. According to me, good location in a quiet area: about 10 min to subway and max 20 min walking time to the Red Square. Alex (the owner) is really kind!

Liked: A homestay rather than a hostel, but that can have its benefits. Its run by a youngish guy Alex, who basically rents out a couple of rooms in the apartment he shares with his mother, and another few rooms in a separate apartment upstairs. His mother cooked us a fabulous apple slice so I can't complain about the place. Because you're in someone's home the atmosphere is low key, so if you are looking to meet other travellers, party, etc, I would suggest one of the other hostels, but if you want a quiet place that has a great location close to the red square then Nova is a reasonable option.

Liked: For us this was just like a homestay which we loved. It's a quiet time of year for tourists so we didn't really meet anyone else - but if it was busy it would be a good place for that.

Liked: Nova was a chilled, Alex even more so!! Very helpful, friendly and welccoming. Location is brilliant, interior super warm & cosy and decked out with all the necessities. Will come straight back to Nova next stay in Moscow

Liked: Very nice and friendly owner, helped us with everything, even offered to bring us by car direction airport. The room was tidy and comfortable, very clean bathroom and nice kitchen... Perfect value for money, great location, close to the center and very nice neighborhood, with bars, restaurants and atmosphere..We would come back!

Liked: I booked private room for 3persons.Alex offered me another apartment that only us and that's great!!! Room was nice and closed to supermarket. You can walked 10mins to red square. Overall it's very good place you choose in moscow. Good location..Helpful staff and cleanliness like stay in your own home.
