Liked: The twin room was very nice and the hostel was in an excellent location for three of the main train stations.

Disliked: The bathrooms were not especially clean and smelled a bit.

Disliked: Staff were unhelpful and didn't provide keys or any information hen we checked in. We had to onstantly ask for things like door keys, wifi code (which two staff didn't understand due to their poor English) and other important info. The kitchen was only a fridge, a micorwave and table and staff were unprepared for the hot weather by providing any fans (except for themselves when they bothered to be at reception, otherwise the AC was switched off) or access to filtered water. The hostel had no fun aspects, no common room and none of the social side you expect from most hostels.

Liked: room was pleasant except for... see below

Disliked: the management did not fix the door handle during 5 days. as a consequence i could not lock the door when i was in the room only when \i was outside. the manager said it would be fixed but.....Furthermore an other room was not offered to me eventhough it could have been. What a pity i extended my stay be one day

Disliked: dirty room, old toilets and showers, people waiting outside my door for no reason,broken internet, no aircon, my room had a window that i was not allowed to open, during +36'c temperatures, need i say more?

Liked: This hostel is a cheap place, so don't expect miracles, but you will get the best possible value for your money in an expensive city such as Moscow. It is located in the wider center of Moscow, very easy to reach by metro (make sure you see the map of the area, you won't miss). For those who have laptops, there is free wireless Internet and for those who don't, there is a computer next to the reception. It is clean and full of young people. Bank, exchange office and supermarket are nearby.

Disliked: These guys are doing a very good job, since their place is almost always full (if you come earlier than expected, you might have to wait for your place). During the night you might find on the reception non English speaking staff only, so if you don't speak Russian, you might have a problem. But there is always someone among the guests who speaks both languages, so the problem is solved... Rooms that look to the main street might be loud for you.

Liked: The location is fine. If you get another room than room 4, than it's fine.

Disliked: The staff is not very polite. On our day of arrival there wasn't even someone who spoke english.
