Liked: We stayed here for 1 night. Due to phone misunderstanding our places have been taken, however the staff offered us a double room for the price of shared dorm. Really stylish and big hostel. 4-5 showers available which is great when bigger group comes. Internet good if you have your own laptop, only one public pc available. If you want to walk the city the last day of your stay, you can leave your baggage here free of charge.Cons: Hostel charges 700 rub. (approx. 16€ at the time) for registration at the immigration service which is too much. Otherwise a recommended hostel.

Liked: we had a really fun time and the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. it was really easy to walk to the kremlin (about 15 minutes). Really good value for money and we'd stay there again!

Liked: Nice place, not too big. Good facilities, but the place is situated at a 12 lane road... So if you have a room on the street side, it might be a bit noisy.

Liked: They are asking 700 roubles for police registration. It was 300 roubles in Irkutsk. Wait and do it in Irkutsk..C ya

Liked: Nice hostel and good value dorm beds. Don't book the private rooms as they are very terrible and it would actually be much better to book the whole dormitory room than a private room. Try to get yourself in the dorm-room number 12 which is not on the big road side.!Reminder!: Booking dorm beds through internet is more than twice cheaper than directly from the hostel (internet: 7,5euros , at hostel: 700 rubles)

Liked: At the time of my travel one dormitory bed was 7 Euros per night when reserved through internet but if I want to stay longer and reserve the same dormitory bed directly from the hostel I have to pay 700 Rubles per night (equivalent at the time about 16 Euros). This caused little inconvenienceVery good value for your money but try to get yourself in the room facing away from the big road as on that side I know it's very noisy.

Liked: Comfy leather sofas in the common areas, large rooms, free (good) wifi connection, good showers, clean, walking distance to the train stations and right next to metro station, walking distance to Red Square.

Liked: We stayed in a private double room in a different floor from the dorms, the reception and the kitchen, so we couldn't really feel the atmosphere of the place.Our room was quite old but the dorms and the kitchen looked new and confortable.The location is perfect, it's easy to go walking to the center of the city, and the subway it's just next to the building.Despite some little questions, it was a nice stay.

Liked: 1. Space2. Staff friendliness and help ... Katia and Nina, and housekeeper which speaks Russian but was able to communicate using hand signals and my simple, limited, vocabulary in Russian3. Facilities were quite clean (the fridge smelled of bad food though) ... you can see/tell that the owners have hired sufficient staff (instead of trying to scrimp)4. Location is great for arriving / departing by trainI extended my stay in Moscow in large part because of this hostel.

Liked: Twin room I booked for 3 nights was worth the money, had its own television and was in a separate part of the youth hostel to the dorms.I thought the kitchen area could be larger because if more than 5 to 6 people were in there it was cramped. Otherwise, all o.k.

Liked: Friendly and helpfull staff. Clean room but a bit cold with a very little mobil heater. Those rooms which have a window for the street are quite noisy.
