The owner, Ferry, was very helpful with local recommendations and seemed to speak lots of different languages!
There was a computer so you could use the internet at any time.
The hostel wasn't noisy and felt very secure. We stayed in the private double room and it felt private, not like an extra dorm. Ferry let us leave our bags there until 10pm on the day following our stay,
Very helpful service and the hostel was very central! A geat value option for Moscow.

The owner was so so helpful - we arrived at 5am and he got up, made us fresh coffee and let us have access to a bed for a snooze even though our room was still occupied. Lovely atmosphere, great bathroom, FANTASTIC location.

Location and price were perfect. They were very friendly. Everything was fine - only thing would be to provide a safe or a way of locking your room just for your own peace of mind.

It did give a sense of security, but this caused a lack of atmosphere.

It was more like an apartment than a hostel but we enjoyed that in a good way. Very friendly staff and extremely helpful. We definately stay here again!

This hostel is ideally located literally a couple of minutes from Red Square and the major tourist attractions and is an ideal base for a stay in Moscow. It has several spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished bedrooms with a shared bathroom/shower room. There is also access to kitchen facilities, a washing machine, the Internet and a TV. A basic breakfast is included too. The chap running the hostel at the time was a French guy called Ferry who was helpful and friendly and also spoke several languages fluently.

The friendliness and helpfullness of the owner was fantastic and made my stay in Moscow so much more enjoyable. The hostel was clean and secure and I would recommend it to anyone. It's fairly quiet, which I like, but you still meet people to go out with. It's also walking distance to everything you want to see, but 2 mins from metro aswell. 10/10.

Great Location on one of the main streets out of red square and the Kremlin but our room - at the back - was very quiet. Great internet access - but we were mainly alone so may get busy when full. Ferry was freindly and helpful and gave us advice for our transiberian trip. Very good value fo money.

Definitely best location in Moscow, Kremlin is virtually just outside the window. The area around the Hostel (Tverskaja) is very nice, safe and offers quite a lot of good places to have coffee and Restaurants at resonable prices. The Hostel atmosphere is cosy and very private with friendly and helpful staff. Don't try anything else. At Red Square Hostel you won't be dissappointed.
