Since 2011 we have been situated in the historical center of Kazan!
The hostel was founded in 2007 and up to now remains the only backpacker-friendly place in Kazan. Free washing machine and Internet, low prices.

The hostel was founded in 2007 as a family enterprise by Ekaterina Bulgaru and Timur Kamalov. Our concept and our major ambition was to combine the care and comfort of a family hotel with the fun and free atmosphere of a student's hostel. While offering a 24-hour reception and placing no formal constraints on our guests like some old Soviet-era hotels, we don't limit ourselves to providing only basic utilities. Outside the train station there is a bus stop.
Ask for a bus going towards bus stop "Square of Tukai". Many buses go in this direction 2, 10, 10a, 30, 48, 63, 74, 74a, 91 (cost 18 rub),
Trolleybus - 1, 7, 19 also go i this direction(cost 15 rub)
Bus journey takes approximately 10 minutes.
Alternatively you can walk to the hostel from the station approximately 25 minutes.

The Hostel is situated on the corner of Universitetskaya and Ostrovskogo street.
Once you are at this intersection look for a yellow 5 storey building.
Look Up and you will see hostel sign and arrow directing you towards entry gate in a balcony window.
If arriving at night look for 24 hour Istanbul Cafe.
Go to this corner and walk past the entrance of Istanbul cafe.
Walk 35 metres from the corner of the intersection and you will find a triple black barred gate located next to a Japanese restaurant.
Go to the left hand side of this gate (pedestrian entrance) and push buttons 3,4 and 6 TOGETHER (ALL AT ONCE) on the silver entry box.
Then push gate to enter compound.
Once entered compound turn right and walk 25 metres to the grey door at the base of the yellow building in the corner of the yard.
Press button 8B on the entry intercom
Walk up the stairs to apartment 8 which also has a black H on the door.
