Felinarul Hostel

Come and rest in our Transylvanian nest, Sibiu's only boutique-style hostel and every day you can enjoy our organic breakfast for free.

Felinarul hostel is owned and run by a Romanian/Irish couple, and offers a friendly welcome. The old house was renovated with great attention to detail, with a mix of vintage Romanian furniture and crafts alongside modern facilities. An old fresco was discovered during renovations too!

The intimate cobblestone courtyard is a quiet oasis of calm in the heart of the old town, where customers and friends can hang out in the shade and sip a beer or glass of wine. There is also a restaurant in the same courtyard offering some of the tastiest food in town and home made lemonade and smoothies. The hostel also has chill-out zone, complete with a library of travel books and fiction.

An organic home-made breakfast is served each morning free of charge.

Accommodation Information

The hostel has two large rooms with 6 beds in each. It also has a third private room with two beds, a sanctuary for female travelers or couples.

Location Information

The hostel is situated on one of the oldest streets in Sibiu.

It is a five minute walk from the train station/bus station and only a stone’s throw from the main square with its cafes, bars and restaurants.
