Liked: Good position, decent bar

Disliked: Least friendly and helpful staff I have ever encountered. The receptionist was far more interested in playing world of warcraft. That was far from the worst bit though; turns out there was a pretty bad infestation of bedbugs, I could even see them if I turned on a light at night and feel them crawling on my arm. Nice. Got bitten pretty bad.

Liked: The location was very good, close to the main square and a supermarket

Disliked: While the place has a lot of character, maintenance is lacking. The place appears to have a greater focus on the bar downstairs than running a hostel. The staff did not offer any suggestions for activities and were not particularly approachable when the bar was busy. While staying there for 3 nights, the main male toilets were continually flooded, leaving only one toilet/shower. While there is a nice courtyard area, the hostel lacks a good common room. As per other reviews, the hostel is very noisy til very early in the morning. I'm sure there are better hostels in Sibiu.

Liked: Great location - right near "Piata Mare"; excellent and charming common areas (both inside the hostel and in an inner courtyard); helpful staff The hostel is also a gathering place for locals, and at the time of ARTMania festival there was a very nice party atmosphere.

Disliked: While not a problem - the dorms have no lockers.

Liked: The location

Disliked: Very noisy. It has a central courtyard, where the rooms arrive, in which people do party until 4 or 5 am. In addition, the boss puts the loud music at the courtyard at 6 o'clock.. The Atmosphere is good, but we can't sleep !!!!!!

Liked: The staff are really helpful and friendly.

Disliked: 1 ) No oil in the kitchen 2 ) Not enough computers! 3 )Seriously, a real common room is very important!!! 4) The toilet and bathroom really suck.

Liked: The decor and atmosphere is super cool with an opium den looking lounge and lots of space to hang out and meet other travelers. The private double was great and I really liked the ensuite bathroom.

Disliked: Having the hostel double as a bar means it can stay pretty loud pretty late.

Liked: Best location! Pc for guests.

Disliked: 1) washbasin not clean for more than half a day; 2) they take your passport and if you leave early (7:00 ...) in the morning it's necessary to wake up with some noises.

Liked: Bar and restaurant at ground floor, receptionist is the bar tender. good for party young people.

Disliked: Dishonest. After deposit, I should only pay 8euro. But when I get there, he checked my reservation, and told me to pay 40lei, which is about 10euro. He said it's about the SAME! I argued with him and he told me to 'MAKE A PRICE'. I said, 'I DON'T MAKE A PRICE, IT IS THE PRICE.' finally i paid 32lei which is about 8euro. It's little money, but it's matter of truth and honesty. I don't mind giving such money to begger, but not in this way of dishonesty.

Liked: Very cool look to this hostel with some interesting furniture. Has a big, well equiped kitchen. Very good location, only three minutes walk from Piata Mare.

Disliked: When me and another guest asked about having the breakfast which was advertised in the hostel kitchen we were referred to 'Billa'. Shame...

Liked: This hostel is simply great: perfect location, great atmosphere (it's one of the most beuatiful hostels I have seen in all my life, and I am not so young), lots of services, and it also is problably the cooler pub in the whole town. I would recommend it any time and if I ever come back to Sibiu I will choose Flying TIme happily.

Disliked: If I have to say what was NOT good, it lacked manutention the room: a lamp didn't work, the towelholder was falling off, and the shower holder was also broken.

Liked: When we arrived at the hostel, they informed us that there was a double booking for our room. They were very kind and offered us another room with free breakfast. Depite that, we had a pleasant stay.

Liked: Good little hostel. Bad thing is it's really noisy with the bar downstairs so you won't get any sleep till about 1am, and then the music starts back up at 8:30am. So if you wanna stay here, prepare to drink up and not get much sleep. Otherwise the beds are comfy, it's all clean etc. It was empty when I was there so not the funnest place if you're alone.

Liked: this hostel was in a great location. the staff were extremely helpful. we had some trouble with our laptop conencting to the internet, but the staff were very accomodating and made sure that we could gain access to the internet. Would highly recommend this hostel for your stay in sibiu.

Liked: Shockingly beautiful hostel in a great location just off the main square. Couldn't comment on 'fun' as towards end of september it was quiet, but there was a nice courtyard that served as common area/bar so i assume it's a social place as well.

Liked: The hostel was amazing. Just in the city centre, about two minutes far from the main attractions of the city. The only problem was that when we got there there was a mistake with our reservation and no room left for us, so they redirected us to another hotel, 10 minutes far from the centre but very clean and nice. The chief of the hostel lifted us himself to the other place and offered himself to do whatever we needed for the troubles caused by that mistake on the reservation.
