Liked: it was close to the centrum, that's basically it.

Disliked: it's not really a hostel but a network of old empty apartments but in quite good locations.

Liked: For our stay we were given a 2-room apartment at the heart of the city. The apartment is air-conditioned , well- equipped and comfortable. The bus to the airport is just a short walk away.

Disliked: When we arrived at the given address we were told that there was no room for us. We had some anxious moments waiting for some other arrangements. Eventually somebody came to bring us to another apartment nearby. To avoid such unnecessary delay and inconvenience we should have been give more information and instructions as to what to do and what to expect upon arrival.

Liked: It's very cheap and I got more than what I've expected. The place is clean and complete with kitchen, living room and huge bedroom. The staff is very patient even though we came late from our promised time (due to heavy rain). It's well located.

Disliked: Nothing really

Liked: Nice location, good price, helpful and friendly people, who manage it. I rent 1 studio and 1 bigger apartment. They were both ok. The apartment had good internet connection, cable tv, well heated. I would recommend it. Nice and not expensive restaurants around also.

Liked: private apartment in the city center with full kitchen. nice place to relax and enjoy "me" time.

Disliked: didn't have a computer as promised. difficult to get to the apartment. 1st, you must meet the owner, then wait till check in time, then be driven to the actual apartment. felt like alot of running around just to check in. also, no one was at the meeting point so had to wait around in an unknown area...luckly, an associate showed up and we got some assistance. if not for that, who knows how long we would've had to wait.

Liked: Good location. Close to the center and good connection with another parts of city.

Disliked: Serious problem with water - very weak stream of water! It was really getting tired.

Liked: This apartment was neat and clean, and in an excellent location. My boyfriend and I stayed there and were able to walk to so many different things because of how great the location was! The pick up service to and from the airport was prompt and efficient and very friendly. We had all we needed which helped us have a great stay altogether. I recommend this place, and if I come back, would stay there again.

Disliked: The "kitchenette" area of the apartment could have used a hot plate, but being that Romania is rather cheap, it didn't matter because we ate out every day anyway!

Liked: Apartment Bara is a small company run by a lovely guy who owns a few apartments in the center of Bucharest. The address on hostelbookers is the location of his office, he met us there outside and drove us to the apartment we stayed in. It was an actual apartment complete with living room, kitchen, double room, bathroom, and amazing facilities like a massive tv!! couldn't believe it considering the price - definitely recommend taking this up for traveling couples wanting a break from hostels!!word to the wise: don't be alarmed arriving at the office address and being approached by the guy in charge asking you to get into his car!! we were anxious as we arrived very late, but he is legitimate, lovely, and you will have an amazing time staying at one of his apartments!
