Liked: Generally speaking it is a nice place with a good location close to the center (10-15 mins walk) and to the subway station Tineretului (5mins). The staff is nice and helpful, but, in my opinion, this is something normal for a hostel.

Disliked: Our private double was small and not very comfortable because of its triangle shape. It was not in the main building, but in a small house (like a garage) and respectively very cold. The heating was just warm and certainly not enough to heat up the small room. Nobody cleaned the bathroom for two days and it was a disaster at the end. The first day the water was just warm - not very pleasant to take a shower on a cold winter day, going back to a cold room and... there are no hair driers as it says in "facilities". Sorry :(

Liked: Very friendly living room, situated perfectly for visiting everything that we needed, but also not too central. Eugen the manager was a great help, giving honest advice as and when we needed it. We were able to come and go as we pleased. I really liked the place a lot.

Disliked: Generally it was perfect, maybe could have been a bigger communal area, but a real minor thing.

Liked: everything is good. exept only one thing.

Disliked: i stayed three day. when i was in happy hostel, i found bed bug at first day. and i slept on floor the day. of course, steps does something for me. i appreciate step's kindness. but until now the bed bug following me... ! they are so terrible .... omg....

Liked: I don't really like it.....

Disliked: The map that they show in hostel-booker is wrong. I complained to the staff and he didn't want to help me anything.Also, the room is not clean.

Liked: It is somewhat near a metro stop.

Disliked: The daytime staff was very unhelpful. We inquired about the airport bus to which he just said he didn't know because "he had never ridden it himself." He seemed rather annoyed that we were asking and made no move to help us find any information. He simply kept saying he didn't know and shrugging, and then said we should just pay the high price for a taxi. Also the private room smelled very odd and had no window so we couldn't remedy it.

Liked: They have an adorable kitty cat named Missy the second who lives there!! She's great fun. They let travelers use their front desk computer, which can cause some confusion when new people want to check in, it's pretty amusing. They have a full kitchen available for use, the bedrooms were quite spacious, and the location is quite good. They are very close by a Metro stop, but just off the main street in a quiet neighbourhood, and there are a lot of interesting sights within a reasonable walking distance. The staff were also very helpful and friendly (especially considering they work 24 hour shifts!!).

Disliked: There tended to be a slight shortage of bathrooms when everyone was trying to get ready at the same time in the mornings. The common area was pretty small, and it would get pretty crowded when lots of people were trying to use the Wifi because reception wasn't as good in other parts of the hostel. Very minor issues.

Liked: The hostel is situated very close to the city center and the staff is very friendly and helpful. On my arrival, I got prepared city map of Bucharest with all the important things marked and even the hostels business card, just in case I should get lost somewhere. I also appreciated that the hostel has the rule that outdoor shoes have to be taken off and instead slippers are offered - makes it a bit more to feel like being at home :-) I would recommend this hostel every time.

Disliked: It is not very obvious to find, even if you stand directly in front of it. Just trust yourself and enter the door at the end of the small street.

Liked: safe as I was in private room but few lockers. nice people but gave me erronous information (museum open on Easter day! were not)

Disliked: bed not confortable, location ok but opposite direction to gara de nord 15min with subway).

Liked: All staff esp Eugen and Dan are very helpful. They make you feel at home. Definitely recommend it and will stay here again when we come back.

Disliked: Beds in 10-bed dorm are not good enough, they make a lot of sounds when we move.

Liked: it was close to a metro stop that goes directly to the historical center, or you could walk down the main street for 10 minutes and you are there.

Disliked: the beds are the bare minimum. We stayed in the private double and the blanket did not even cover the whole bed and it was just a bed in a room with nothing else really. You can pay the same amount of money and get an entire studio to yourself. I would only suggest this place to people in a group who want just a bed to sleep in.

Liked: GREAT, THE HAPPY HOSTEL GAVE TO ME COMFORT, AND EVERYTHING, SO THE STAFF THERE IS REALLY HELPFULL WITH EVERYONE, AND ALWAYS ABLE TO GIVE YOU THEIR BEST....SO CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE.
