Liked: Great location,walk to everything,supermarket round the corner.Huge common room and kitchen with everything you need.Tasty breakfast till late,and the friendliest staff who want to make sure you enjoy Bucharest,with good advice on where to party and eat out.

Disliked: The dorm room I stayed in was downstairs - outside the main hostel. The room was very cold and the fuse was faulty so the power didn't work (no lights, heater etc) in that room.

Liked: Staff are great and offered some really good recommendations for the city which helped our stay a lot. There were a lot of cool and funky people staying in the hotel which made the stay even more enjoyable. Bunks were nice and sturdy with comfy mattresses and covers which made for a really nice night's sleep. Plenty of bathroom facilities so there were no waits unlike some other hostels.

Disliked: Some of the other people in our dorm were very messy, but that was not the hostel's fault!

Liked: Propeer travelers' hostel atmosphere, nice lounge to hang out in. Also, the location in the city centre is really nice and it is in front of French embassy, so presumably quite safe area...

Disliked: The floor is quite noisy which is disturbing when you have 13 other ppl in the dorm.

Liked: 10 min walk to centre, 5 min to metro, 25 min to gare du nord. Good showers, tv with DVD, common room, kitchen is great and breakfast is toast, cheese and eggs. Rooms are okay sized, but there is not a lot of space. Free wifi works great. Friendly staff, but not that helpful. Decent place, would recommend it indeed.

Disliked: They are not that helpful, have to drag information out of them. Floor in dorm creaks a lot

Liked: location is good. close to so many connections for the whole city. locks on all doors gave a good impression of security. i would recommend this place for the night (because its the cheapest place within reasonable distance to the train station) but no longer than that

Disliked: extremely unimpressive receptionist, made incorrect assumptions about us and was generally miserable and unhelpful when asked about the local area. He made the whole experience start badly and it never picked up from there.

Liked: Although I arrived late and spent ther just one night, so only being there for sleep, the feeling was good and the staff help me a lot making the reservation to visit the parlament and the way to go to the airport.

Disliked: Just one toilet

Liked: The staff was amazing and perfect English. All of them were very gentle in comparison to the staff of the train station of Bucuresti. Very nice breakfast and free internet (3 computers available). The location is quiet central. I recommend it to everyone!!!

Disliked: Bucharest isn't a great city, but the hostel can't really do anything about that, so if you want to go to Bucharest, go here

Liked: convenient location only a 2 mins walk from Piata Romana, easy to find if you follow the "Tonka" sign. Friendly and helpful staff, nice communal area and kitchen, good for meeting other travellers.

Disliked: Lockers were quite small and also the bores of the hinges were so small that the clamp of the padlock didn´t fit, you´d need a really small padlock. On the plus side however, the building is directly across from the French Embassy and there are always some guards on the streets, so you feel pretty safe :)

Liked: The property was great, one of the workers was a bit of a prick, the rest were courteous and helpful. The free breakfast was a deal, and worth at least a few euros. The location was decent, 15 minutes from old tow which is where the action is.

Disliked: Bucharest, other then the georgeous georgeous women isnt worth staying more then 2 days in. Theres not actually alot worth seeing, say compared to Budapest.

Liked: The hostel is located in the center of the city, and the stuff is very helpful. We have a problem to buy tickets online for Manu Chao concert so the lady from the hostel buy them for us. Really good place to stay.

Disliked: Everything was OK.
