Chicago hostel is located between the new and old town, just one block from the Secret Garden Hostel. We are only steps away from famous historic sites such as the Basilica church, Palacio de Cristal museum, San Blas square, San Fransicso square, Plaza de la Independencia, Itchimbia park and all of the most important historic locations here in Quito.
All of these monuments to Latin and Ecuadorian history and culture have culminated in making our neighborhood a UNESCO heritage site. Our neighborhood is now considered to be the safest in the centre of Quito thanks to 24 hour security patrols and the fact that there is a police station only two blocks from the hostel.
