Liked: I travel a lot but this hostel is surelly one of the TOP 3 I have ever seen!!! I am so sorry I stopped only for 1 day. It is definitelly not just a transit place, you can easily spend here a fantastic week! Not only the surroundings of the hostel are beautiful, with many trails in the mountains for example, but also the hostel itself offers many things to do! Starting with fantastic food (local specialities, soups, vegetables, barbecue, great local wine or many others all at your choice), continuing with all the sport and relaxation facilities (ping-pong, swimming pool, tennis, basket-ball, badminton, billiard...) and ending with a really friendly staff, the Borcan family (mum Estera will make you taste some of the best Romanian food, father Mircea will play you some great music and make you party all night, sons Alex and Mircea will show you the beautiful places around the hostel (a medieval church, the city of Alba Iulia, the mountains if you are interested) and the daughter Dalina will offer you her warm smile and beautiful eyes that you will never forget about!
