Liked: Everything was great. Breakfast is delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is ideal but would be best to have your own car.

Disliked: Only thing I would suggest would be for each room to have its own fridge.

Liked: Beautiful facility. Wonderful breakfast and friendly staff. CAREFUL-- Tavira Cabanas is a 10 min bus ride from the town of Cabanas-- we made the booking thinking it was in Tavira and this was a hassle without a car on a holiday. Cab to Tavira 10 euros

Liked: The Casa Viana Guesthouse was one of our best accomoadations in Portugal. For people who want to relax and have a nice beach in front, it is the perfect place to be. The breakfast was bombastic and you have a lot of good opportunities around to eat fresh fish.

Liked: The Guesthouse is perfect! We stayed in 3 different hotels in Portugal and this one was the best! It feels like home. The owner was very friendly and helpfull (she doesn't speak english, we didn't speak portugese but it didn't matter). We arrived very late and she was waiting for us with chilled bottle of water. Rooms have airconditioning (badly needed in summer in Portugal!) Breakfast was delicious, everything fresh and very tasty, we had even freshly squeezed orange juice every morning, fruits and homemade cakes yummy yummy! The place was absolutely spotless. On the terrace we could have breakfast, enjoy the view on Casabana and intergrate with other people who stayed in the Casa Viana. It's very close to the beach. We definitely recommend the guesthouse to everyone who is looking for quiet place to relax. We would love to go back as well!

Liked: We were totally amazed with the friendliness and hospitality in the Viana guesthouse. The breakfasts were wonderful. Mrs Viana was caring and very helpful. The rooms large, clean and nicely decorated. We hope to come back there and we recommend Viana guesthouse to everyone.

Liked: The owner was absolutely lovely and took care of our every need - including great breakfast spreads each morning, and lifts in her car to the nearest train station (1km away). It also has a fantastic sea view. We were lucky to be there off-peak so the service was fantastic, but I'm pretty sure it would be great on-peak too :-)

Liked: This place was awesome...i know its a bit expensive for a backpacker budget but if you can spare the few euros it was totally worth it! A bit of respite for a couple who have been in dorms for months - with really easy access to the beach, a wonderful manager who picked us up from the train station and the best breakfast ive had in my 8 months of travels (with many of the bakery goods home made)!
