Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, this destination is well known for the natural and warm hospitality of the local people and its wonderful scenery, particularly along the course of the River Douro, where the grapes used for the famous Port wine are grow.
This capital of the north (as it often called) is the second largest city in a country which has offered the world a guarantee of quality in the major international events it has already hosted. In addition to being the European Capital of Culture in 2001, Oporto was also one of the main host cities for the “Euro 2004”.
The location of the Hotel Tuela Porto in the cultural, commercial and business centre of Boavista is one its outstanding features.
Surrounded by “Cidade do Porto” and “Península” shopping centres, it is also close to the city’s new cultural centre (the “Casa da Música”) and very near city’s main sports stadium (the “Pavilhão Rosa Mota”).

The 197 rooms, spread across two wings (the north and the south wing) have all been renovated and redecorated.
The hotel has a restaurant which serves national and international cuisine and can cater for up to 500 people. There is also a bar next to the lobby.
Events catering is one of the main services offered by the hotel, and the variety and size of space available provides unrivalled facilities for conferences, banquets, exhibitions, presentations and shows.
It offers a total of eight very versatile rooms, able to host all kinds of events. The largest of these rooms is 650m2 and provide a panoramic view of the city.
