Stephen Brooks2 minutes down the hill on Av de Aliados from the Aliados tube which means you can get from the airport and to FC Porto for a couple of euros. 10 minutes walk downhill and your at the Ribeira bar area overlooking the river - can't beat this location if you want a beer and a trip to the footy!! |

Daniel Ivan Alvarez OsambelaThe hostel is very good located, clean and cheap (we paid 38 euros per night). Very good to know Porto without need a car. The only problem of our room is that we had a little terrace, but we could not open the window because there were stractors from a restaurant and it smelled like fish. But we had air conditioned in the room so it didn't matter. |

Dale ShuttlewoodI would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Porto. The staff were very friendly and helpful with all our questions and queries. The breakfast arrangements were very good - 7:30 till 11am, allowing you the choice to get up early or stay in bed. The location of this hotel is very good. It is in the central square, very close to the tourist information office and railway station, close to the shopping areas and just a short walk from the riverside. The price gives value for money and we would certainly book again with them. |

Ewa Szwajperfect location, so to speak, proximity of the most important things to see in porto... helpfulness and friendliness of the staff makes your stay in the hotel more comfortable /coz all of these pluses we prolonged our stay at universal/ i highly recommend you guys staying there! |
