Customer reviewIt was very clean, with very friendly staff and a very good breakfast. The 24h reception works just fine. We extended our stay from 1 to 3 nights. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Porto center, about 20 minutes from the harbour. From the next metro-station it is a less than 5 minutes walk. We would definitely stay there again the next time we visit Porto. |

Thierry BAJAZETThe staff is really very friendly and the room was very clean; there is a very good internet wi-fi service ( internet in the breakfast room from 7:30 to 10:30 if you do not have a laptop) ; the breakfast was good and included . There was cable tv ,air-conditionner and a little fridge (very good idea)in the room! To reach the hotel easily, get down at "faria guimares" metro station as recommended by the hotel (5 mn or less by foot). Residencial Grande Rio in Porto : a good place to stay and moreover it is not expensive ! |

Magdalena Scibiorwe liked the most old grandpa who stayed to watch hostel over the night. he didn't speak english but he was smiling all the time and he was so positive that we didn't have any dificulties to understand each other. generally whole service was nice and smiling :-) |

Judith Adele BalenThe staff were extremely helpful and friendly, to the point that the owner (or manager) gave us a leaving gift AND got up early to make us coffee before we left at 05.45 a.m. We couldn't have asked for a nicer atmosphere and it was incredibly reasonably priced. Highly recommended and, if we ever return to Porto, we would definitely stay there again. |

Bo TanWe had a great time. The room was very clean and the staff was so very helpful. Breakfast was an excellent treat. I would definately recommend everyone to stay there. They have a parking facility available. Which is good in a city such as Porto. Luckily we found a spot right by the residencial. |

Customer reviewFriendly, helpful and spoke english! The Hostel was very well placed, a minutes walk from an underground and 10 minutes walk from the Centre. Excellent choice for breakfast, clean and tidy throughout. Towels changed reularly and the room cleaned daily. Satellite TV, powerful shower and good security. A couple of restaurants near by though the nearest we found to be unecessarily expensive. All staff were cheerful and helpful led by a manager who clearly enjoys providing a high level of service and looking after the guests. We found the People in Porto and surrounding areas friendly & helpful and welcoming. |
