Liked: Hostel muito arrumado, com um lounge e uma cozinha comunitária. Quartos arrumados, boas camas. Hostel Muito limpo, banheiros excelentes, Wifi liberado, a equipe do hostel muito simpática, sempre a postos para te ajudar. Café da manhã muito bom também. Localização muito boa, perto do Metro, estação São Bento.

Liked: The location is perfect as it is close to the bars and nightlife of Porto (Rua Galeria du Paris), it's an easy walk down to Ribeira and the subway stations you need to go around Porto. The hostel is very clean and new, especially the bathrooms, the staff was very helpful and nice, highly recommend this hostel!

Liked: Traditional meals are organised by the hostel every night and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful for example when it was too late to sign up for the meal, one of the members took me to a restaurant, translated the menus, ordered for me and then arranged for me to eat the meal in the hostel along with all the other guests. I also received a free pudding. Also, I lost my flight boarding pass and the staff literally searched through all the rubbish bags the cleaner had taken to see if it was there. They were extremely friendly and the food that i did have in the hostel was really good.

Disliked: When I arrived at the hostel the card machine wasn't working and they wanted cash, they said it was ok to wait till the next day. The next day I felt constantly pestered as I was asked numerous times and given reminders to pay the bill that day, it felt like they didn't trust me. Also, I saw many insects and bugs throughout the hostel, the lockers are very small, all placed under 1 persons bed and there is just 1 fan in the room to keep it cool, therefore sleeping at night was really hot/difficult.

Liked: Very clean, big kitchen and living room, free internet

Disliked: Light sleepers beware, this is a loud hostel. The sparse decorations, central staircase, slamming doors, echoing stairwell, and windows opening to the smoking patio (which also have the unfortunate side effect of delivering second hand smoke directly into your room) all make for a bad nights sleep. I had to ask someone to stop playing guitar outside my window at 1 AM, something that all night receptionist really should have taken care of, particularly since it is posted that people should be quiet and respectful after 10 PM.

Liked: Great place to stay, the place is so clean and pretty adn it has the fun atmosphere of a hostel but also areas to chill out. Right in the middle of things and with Staff to point you in the right direction. Stay here!

Liked: I absolutely LOVED this property! I am so in love with it. It was the most perfect, precious thing ever! I will definitely stay there next time I end up in portugal or lisbon (they have 2 locations in lisbon as well) it was too charming. I was so nervous about booking this, because my friends and I usually book cheap private rooms, but it was FANTASTIC!

Disliked: no dislikes. It was perfect.

Liked: Great, relaxed atmosphere, lovely building and facilities, very clean, all the staff were friendly, and the other travelers too!

Disliked: The hostel is in a slightly different place from where my guidebook located it (just around the corner). This isn't a complaint, but just a head's up that if you're using an old guidebook like I was, check their online, new location before you go so you don't get confused!

Liked: Rooms and all facilities are very clean, lockers with lots of space for every guest, really a pleasure to stay here. I must point out the work of the staff members! I faced a really bad situation - after the loss of my wallet (incl. passport, creditcards, ...)!. They were so helpful and ready to go the extra mile to help me in this situation, I cannot describe how grateful I am, because I would not have had a chance to fly back home without their assistance. Very special thanks to Helena! You are an angel!
