Liked: The breakfast was good and the room was clean. The atmosphere was pleasant as well.

Disliked: The location - the city center is not really walking distance from the hostel.

Liked: The place is nice. Close to Douro's mouth. You could reach Matousinho's beach in 20 min. max and the Old City too. If you like to walk, I suggest to try to reach the Old City by foot. It takes about 1hour, but the walk by the Douro is really nice.

Disliked: They could keep it cleaner (particularly the kitchen) and may change a bit more towels and linen. Also the breakfast could be better, maybe offered a bit more and including teas!

Disliked: Security...one key for 4 peoples...that is a problem and the nigth is the door open... In the kitchen no cup...and teaspoons...

Liked: the view to the river is very pretty

Disliked: dirty beds and towels. Therooms smelled bad. The doors are not safe (very thin, space between the florr and door, normal old locker). Ants in the bathroom. The light turns of during shower, you have to leave the cabine to turn it on again. The showers and toilettes are to old and dirty. The breakfast is a joke, the quality is so bad it would be better not to offer.

Disliked: not really a hostel atmosphere, the rooms look pretty old, breakfast is not good at all

Liked: I liked the free breakfast. Grocery store is right across the street and there is a full kitchen. The kitchen is missing some random things, like knives...

Disliked: A computer with internet is ridiculously expensive at 2 euros for 30 minutes and there is no other internet services near by. It is also a fair distance walk to the center (40 minutes or more).

Liked: Good youth hostel. The location isn't in the city centre but is a nice walk along the bank and only a few minutes by taxi or bus. Its nice that you can walk around to the beaches on the other side of Porto easily. Is only really an albergue so little character but good value for money with good security.

Disliked: jessica left no negative feedback.

Liked: Hostel staff was very cooperative. I had a hugh probelm - discovered that I had mixed up my flight dates and had to get from Porto to Lisbon with 8 hours and it was already 11.30 pm (almost midnight) I was in real hurry and staff helped me to find some late night bus/train times + called a taxi.. so thanks to them + some locals I didn´t lost my flight. Yay!!! =)))
