Liked: Very homey feel, really cosy inside. Free breakfast of cereal and bread was nice. Bathroom nice and clean and spacious, amazing showers! Very helpful receptionists and a nice common room.

Disliked: Put in a 4 person room but literally did not have space to open my suitcase, 6 person rooms much bigger and our room shouldn't have had the extra bed inside it (had 2 singles and a bunkbed), one of the singles was obviously a fold up bed and should have been placed in a bigger. room! Not actually a yellow house as well!

Liked: It's truly a hostel, nice living room to meet people with all kind of facilities.

Disliked: It's really, really cold. I didn't see any heater, only one portable in the kitchen.

Liked: Superb staff, very cosy place, clean and the breakfast was best I've eaten in a hostel! Slightly cold at night but all the beds had lots of blankets and stuff. Close to the sights but you have to take the tram to Barrio Alto, for instance, where all the bars are. All in all definitely worth the 6e we payed for one night.

Liked: I really liked that it was as any other hostel I've visited BUT with a little extra - gorgeous moroccan carpets in the rooms instead of just floor, breakfast table where you could actually sit with a bunch of people instead of just going to sit with your friends, a lovely garden, a nice breakfast (and with a flexibility to late-sleeper-me :)) and some really nice staff!

Disliked: The only minus might be the location, although it didn't bother me at all.

Liked: I really enjoyed having a kitchen that i could use to make meals. The hang out room with tv and couch was nice too.

Disliked: You can't close the door to your room because it locks out everybody else. It was kind of a loud hostel sometimes.

Liked: Nice staff, friendly and polite. They are always trying to help you with anything you would want. Large kitchen, that was the most important point of this hostel, you can make anything you want within the given hours in the kitchen, also there is a balcony. Safe place, they are always checking who is coming and leaving.

Disliked: Rooms are often cold in the nights. Could be considered remote from the center.

Liked: Really great value for money. The kitchen and the garden are fantastic! Very easy to meet other travellers here.

Disliked: kitchen and garden close at 0:00.

Liked: Location was ok, good people, good ambience! In the shower room there was too many stuff to use for free, sweet!

Disliked: Coffee wasn't so good at breakfast, but the rest was ok!

Liked: Good showers, free small breakfast, easy walk from the metro.

Disliked: Very squeaky bunk beds - kept awake all night by the woman above me moving in bed.

Liked: - There were nice guests staying there, but that doesn't really have anything to do with the hostel itself. - Cheap

Disliked: - We had to switch rooms 2 times due to bad planning of the owners, very annoying! - The booking itself also went wrong, we got another room that we have even asked for. - The owner locked himself out one night, so we couldn't get in the hostel. One of the other guests had to be woken up so we all could get in. - There are shared showers, but you could lock the entire bathroom. So if you wanted to take a shower, sometimes it wasn't even possible because someone had locked it. - The toilet was in the same bathroom, so everyday when you took a shower, at the same time other people are 'relieving themselves'... really disgusting! - There were men working on the hostel each morning. So you woke up by, or had breakfast with, the sound of the machines the men were working with. - After twelve o'clock you weren't allowed to be in the garden or kitchen, to prevent noise for other guests. But some evenings the owners themselves were making the noise after midnight.

Disliked: Not enough curtains in the room in the apartment next to the house (the one on the big window was not big enough, and one on the window to the bathroom should also be helpful)

Liked: The kitchen & the garden

Disliked: We were placed in an apartment next to the actual hostel, which was really not nearly as nice as the hostel itself. If you make a reservation, request a room in the hostel itself instead of the nearby apartment!

Liked: It was in a great location: close to the metro, the sights & supermarket. The staff were super nice & friendly. The kitchen was very well equipped and breakfast was decent. Had a wonderful outdoor patio, great for eating supper or relaxing into the night.

Disliked: My big concerns are: NO curtain for the window in the womens shower/toilet. The window looks into the stairwell and hallway and anyone can see in when getting in & out of the shower. Very disconcerting. I told a staff member about it the first day and still nothing. I felt very uncomfortable when using the shower!! No keys for the rooms. Anyone could come in and their were only medium size lockers in dorms (not bug enough for any luggage bags). And unfortunately, our room had a balcony onto the patio so we got lots of the noise at night from those out on he patio or from the rude roomates below coming in and being obnoxious at 5am. Shower & keys/locks were my biggest issues.

Liked: Staff were friendly, house was nice with a garden and large kitchen. Location was close to a large metro station, and not far from the river and main attractions. They even served Sangria on the house one night!

Disliked: Location was a bit sketchy. You have to walk a bit until you get to the downtown touristy area. If you have the top bunk in your room, there's nowhere to put your items in an easy to reach spot (eg alarm clock).
