Liked: Convenient location, most attractions were within walking distance. Very clean and spacious room, cozy. Owner Pedro is very friendly and gave good recommendations to attractions around. Free WIFI. Pedro deserves 10 out of 10 stars! The place has its own unique character.

Liked: IT's a very nice place - cosy house with few very nice rooms. It has its own atmosphere. The rooms are really prepared for comfortable staying - nicely furnished and decorated. You receive the keys to the house and to your room and can really feel like at home. Pedro, the owner is very helpful, he provided us with a map of Porto and details about places worthy to see and restaurants in our budget (cheap and local ones (2 restos) are just on the street behind hostel - toward centre and the more sophisticated with candles and live music is Galleria de Paris on the street of the same name). The hostel is closer to metro station that we thought - it's only 2 min walk (just take the exit to Rue Fonseca)

Disliked: I don't have any such thing.

Liked: The Owner, Pedro, is very attentive, flexible, helpful, gives you lots of information about the city. Clean place, good beds. Location is convenient, right next to the Metro Station Faria Guimaraes, walking distance to the city centre.

Disliked: No dislikes! As you are in the centre of a big city, earplugs may be helpful.

Liked: Pedro is very helpful and lovely. The kitchen was beautiful. The whole place is more of a shared apartment, so it doesn't feel like a hostel. Very nice for a couple. There were plenty of clean towels and we had the opportunity to wash our clothes.

Disliked: The doors to each room are of matted glass, so at times this can be inconvienent. If you are primarily walking, the hostel can feel a little far coming from the center of porto uphill back late at night. That said, it was all worth it because of the great vibe, clean and beautiful interior, and Pedro's friendliness.

Liked: The owner was very friendly, nice and helpfull!! We received the city map and lot of recommendation for the trips. I felt rather like in my friend's flat than in hostel. The kitchen is very good equipped and everything was very clean. You share the flat with other travellers. I would go there again !!!

Disliked: Our room had window situated in to the street, that was really noisy, so bring the earplugs with you.

Liked: - Helpful staff - There is a shared balcony

Disliked: - Wireless but no computer, if you don't have a WiFi device you won't be able to check anything on internet - The place is a little bit noisy due to the wooden floor and old style doors

Liked: I liked atmosphere and friendliness of the owner, Pedro, who was always willing to advice you about the city. I also really liked the design of my room.

Liked: Pedro (the owner) is so amazingly helpful, he told us everything we could need to know about porto and can answer any question. He's really friendly. The house is really nice, it's an apartment you share with the other few travellers. It had a kitchen and a nice balcony to sit on at night, wi-fi in most of the house, not as good in the kitchen though. Close to a metro station

Disliked: A little bit out of town, we still walked there whenever we went in, it's not that far, but it's not in the real old part that's all

Disliked: Down a somewhat narrow and precipitous street; staircase also a bit treacherous.

Liked: Excellent location. 10 minute walking to the city center and lots of cheap places to eat and buy around. We stfayed at their apartment 2 minute walking from the guest house. Big place, very confortable, clean, perfect for our vacation. Basic but very good value for the money we paid. Pedro helped us a lot, told us everything we needed to know. Recommend a lot

Liked: the location is excellent, at the heart of the city, but calm and cool, excellent staff, very helpful and caring, nice kitchen with all equipments, and the room was really cosy

Liked: Big rooms, good location, nice balcony and very quick response from the hostal when booking. It is quiet at night and easy to get to,

Disliked: Not much. They do not have any place to store your luggage, so if you are leaving late in the evening, you will have to find somewhere else to put it.

Liked: This was the best hostal for overall quality of experience during my month journey through Europd. Pedro the owner is very hospitable and relaxed, which translates into a very relaxed environment. I met travelers from across Europe and Australia who mingled and enjoyed each others' company. My room was large and bright, and quiet at night. Use of the kitchen, including the refrigerator and oven, was included in the price. It's located next to a Metro stop, and has a little cafe with good coffee across the street. Good place.

Disliked: Like every hostal I stayed in, Atum initially was hard to find. I called the owner from the stairs asking how to find him, because I wasn't sure I even was in the right building.

Liked: Reallyyy nicely furnished, great kitchen facilities almost too high-tech for us to work! Haha. Pedro was extremely helpful sending information about Portugal although I never got to read it properly beforehand. Great location really near metro stations. A great place to end the eurotrip! :)

Liked: The owner, Pedro, is a very helpful and friendly guy who provides information and maps of the city. Net worked well. Good connections to the airport (metro). Our room was facing the inner yard so it was fairly quiet.
