Liked: The only negative thing is the window street-side. For the rest good atmosphere, rooms are clean, Pedro is wonderfull by giving you tips as soon as you arrive!

Liked: Pedro (who speaks perfect English) came to pick us up from the bus station and gave us a 'tour' on the way to his place. He made us feel very welcome in his appartment. The location is pretty good, just up the hill from the main metro station (Trindade). There's a supermarket nearby and all the main sights are easy to get to. Thanks Pedro for everything!

Liked: "Atum" and Leonardo are excellent hosts, always open to conversation and always willing to help you in everything you need. The pictures on the internet are showing less than they are offering: the rooms and bathrooms are very clean, the design of each room is very nice and in general you feel that it is better than a 3 star hotel.

Liked: The host - Pedro is very helpful and nice person. He explains Porto at the begining and gives you information better than any other info office... :) Nice climate in the hostel-apartament, classy and spacious rooms. In kitchen there is everything you need - and the fridge is big and in cool old school style. You get a nice hostel in ok localisation for a good value of money. Thanks

Liked: no long-term parking available anywhere close to the place. what's available is two-hour max and quite expensive. not so much a guest house as just a shared apartment (not much sign of art-deco either - clean, but relatively poorly decorated place). very difficult to find - no signs on the building or inside. apartment owner is indeed very friendly and helpful though - should give him a credit for that.

Liked: Very good location, excellent English speaking landlord, who gives good advice where to go and what to do. Very good value for the money. Advice for car travellers - the parking for the car is in the street and You have to pay for it.

Liked: It's a small pleasant flat where also the owner lives. It's not a place where you would meet lot of new people. On the other hand you do not need to be woried that you would be disturbed by some party makers and so on. The owner is really helpfull. The hostel is however on a quiet big street so there is allways bit noice from the trafic in the rooms situated to the street (so try to ask in advance for a room situated to the yard if you have a weak sleep .

Liked: The place is a guess house at 3 minutes of the subway and 10 minutes walking of the tourist places. The rooom and everything was very clean but the building was made in 1940 so doors, windows, etc was very old.The beds was very very confortable.Pedro, the owner of Atum guess house was very friendly and help to us very much.
