Comercio do Porto 71 (CP71) is a building dated from the XVII century completely renovated and transformed in 9 very comfortable and well decorated studios.

The World Heritage Studios are part of a 17th century building recently renovated and transformed in several very comfortable and well decorated studios.

The building is located in the centre of the UNESCO classified Historic Centre right next to S. Francisco church, one of the most visited monuments in the city.

At our reception, in the ground floor, you may find tourist guides and books about Oporto City and we will always be available to give you directions and advice about enjoying your visit.

Accommodation Information

All the studios have white walls, white wood or black stone flooring, and ceilings painted white. Some ancient walls in the rooms and common areas are uncovered to show the old construction structures that still support the building construction.

Studio AP01-WH01

It’s a first floor open-space studio with 32m2. It has two windows with old stone benches where the young women would sit and watch the street. The old wood structure of the ceiling is also visible. It has a separate area with a full equipped kitchen and where you can store luggage, hag cloth and use has dressing room. This area has to be crossed to access the WC with shower.

This studio is equipped with two 140x200 beds that can be used individually or by couples. It also has a table, four chairs and a 2 seat couch.

This studio is suitable for 2 single persons or two couples that don’t mind sharing the same space. The capacity can be increased to accommodate larger groups and children, by using a sofa-bed or cribs.

Studio AP02-WH02

This studio is similar to the one on the first floor, but has a balcony with two windows facing the street. It has a separate area with a full equipped kitchen and where you can store luggage, hag cloth and use has dressing room. This area has to be crossed to access the WC with shower.

This studio is equipped with two 140x200 beds that can be used individually or by couples. It also has a table, four chairs and a 2 seat couch.

This studio is suitable for 2 single persons or two couples that don’t mind sharing the same space. The capacity can be increased to accommodate larger groups and children, by using a sofa-bed or cribs.

Studio AP04-WH03

This studio is similar to the one on the second floor, but larger and also with a balcony with two windows facing the street. In this case the kitchen is facing the open-space covered by a curtain. The WC, with shower, is accessed by the entrance hall that can be used as a living area in this studio.

The hip roof old structure is all visible and illuminated which introduces an ancient and nice spicier environment to the studio.

This studio is suitable for 2 single persons or two couples that don’t mind sharing the same space. The capacity of this studio can easily be increased with and extra bed or a sofa-bed to accommodate larger groups and children.

Studio AP09-WH04

This 60m2 duplex apartment with terrace has one bedroom on the upper floor and one WC, kitchen and living room on the ground floor.

The hip roof old structure is all visible and illuminated in the bedroom introducing an ancient and nice environment to sleep in. The bedroom is equipped with two 90x200 beds that can be used separately of joined together to form a large double bed.

The living room open to the kitchen is spacious and provides a nice place to share with the family. The terrace with its views over the old city is ideal to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The bed-sofa in the living room can accommodate a couple or a single person. This apartment is suitable for two couples but capacity can be increased with extra beds or cribs.

The prices indicated are for 2 persons per room per night.
Extra persons over 12 years old per apartment will be charged an extra cost per night.

The World Heritage Studios are located in the hart of the historic centre and only 50m front the river Douro where you may find all the tourism activities.

From the building you will be able to walk to all major city monuments and attractions.
The Tourism Office and several tourism agencies are less than 5min away.

Nearby you may find all the amenities you need, grocery, gourmet and wine shops.
There is a coffee shop and a restaurant right next to our building.
Night life and bars are 5 min by foot, but our street is very quiet.
Transportations are very close and two parking’s 50m away.
