I liked the fact that the hostel was more like a hotel. We stayed in a 3-bed room and we had our own little kitchen in the room, plus our own bathroom.

I really liked my stay at Pedra Antiga, the staff were very nice and helpfull, the place was spotless, as you could see they had it cleaned everyday and the room was really pretty and high quality. I would recommend it to everybody that wants to visit Porto

We stayed there as a group and enjoyed our stay at teh Residencia very much. All rooms are nicely and individually decorated. There is a nice kitchen area, breakfast was good, too.

This is a very nice place at the end of the main shopping street of Porto. Some walls are uncovered like in old swiss chalets. It was clean and the furniture seemed to be new. We especially liked the comfortable livingroom and the green roof terrace where (it looked like) you can also have a bbq. The living room was equipped with an internet pc or free and satellite tv. Also the self-service breakfast was one of the richest we got for the price. After all we can say, that it was the best stay we had during our two week portugal tri.

Had a very pleasant stay. The hostel is well located for metro and shops. Free internet access and breakfast were very handy! The bedrooms at the front can be a bit noisy at night (traffic).

Very nice room and very good breakfast. Very accommodating staff. We arrived early in the morning and they gave us an additional breakfast after arriving and prepared the room quickly for us. A little away from the river, but very close to commercial centre. Our room was a little noisy. Porto traffic lights have a penetrating persistent noise. Ask for a room towards the back. In all other respects I can recommend this pension thoroughly.

Very clean and nice rooms. Owners do NOT speak any English, so communication in that language is not possible. Although they know Spanish and French.

Excellent value for money and good location. There are even TV and hairdryer provided in the room, which is out of my expectation. Only problem is that my room is on the first floor facing the main street, which can be v ery noisy at night.

Would definitely recommend it. A very friendly atmosphere (the lady that owns it even kissed us goodbye), the facilities and the rooms of a superb quality and the breakfast (included in the price) was fantastic!!! Even though it's not inside the historic center of the city, it is quite well situated.

Small ,but very nice,clean, cozy accommodation with great service. Staff were really kind and helpful even though they don't speak english at all. Definitely I would like to come back !!!

The rooms were nice, and a great deal for the price. The hostel didn't seem like a cool place to hang out and meet other people, and was a bit of a walk away from the city center.
