Liked: Very good quality in comparison to price.

Disliked: Nobody at the reception desk wasn't speaking English (maybe during our stay) :) besides this really great!

Liked: A really charming guest house run by a friendly couple - no English or anything but Portuguese spoken, but Spanish works well and I imagine other romance languages would, too. The hotel is on top of the main shopping street, but quiet enough at night. Breakfast was simple, but good and the whole property and the rooms very charming. Solo travellers, please be aware that the single room (there is only one) does not have a window. But why would you want to spend a lot of time there anyway when there's beautiful, sunny Porto outside!

Liked: Everything. I visited quite a few hostels and i was amazed when with the luxury and attention for detail in this hostel. You can see the woman running the hostel isnt doing it just for the money, but also because she likes doing it!

Liked: Our room was warm, quiet and well-appointed, with a TV and a small kitchen. They bed and towels were changed every day, and there was free access to the internet through a computer in the breakfast room.

Disliked: There was a constant bad drains smell in the bathroom of our room.

Liked: Good location and helpful hosts. The room was large and quiet. Pleasant surprise to be told breakfast was provided. Great common room where you can prepare meals at anytime time of day, TV, comfy chairs, free internet and free tea and coffee. Highly recommended.

Liked: I really like the central location, it was close to everything in particulr the River Douro and the Metro. The Breakfast provided at the hostel was great value for money and having free internet, free towels and free satellite TV was great.

Disliked: There was nothing i disliked. It was all better than I expected for the price of the stay.

Liked: The ideal location in the heart of the city

Disliked: My room only had a bidet which had a stench, guess from the drainage, when u entered the room. The phone in my room did not work. There were 1 bath & WC to be shared by far too many. Too noise very early in the morning.

Liked: It's a very nice place, very friendly stuff, good breakfast, the terrace on the roof. There is also a possibility to use the kitchen with the microwave oven.

Liked: Friendly woman owner who went out of her way for me. Nice room - good value for money. Location on the main shopping street. roof garden and friendly dog. Also the breakfast was filling!

Liked: We stayed in a triple room (only 2 of us) and it was very spacious - 2 bedroom areas and a private bathroom. Great kitchen facilities, lovely breakfast in the morning - bread rolls, cheese, ham, cereal, nice coffee and herbal teas. Nice quiet location. Walking distance to main attractions and close to Metro station and supermarket. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
