Liked: Dit pension/hostel heeft een goede prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding en is ideaal gelegen tegenover het Campanha station, vanwaar je snel met de trein naar bijvoorbeeld Lissabon kan, maar ook met de metro naar het centrum of bijvoorbeeld naar de luchthaven. Hou er wel rekening mee dat het hotel relatief low budget is, schoon, maar geenluxe!

Disliked: Toen ik incheckte was er een heel vriendelijke jongeman, maar daarna steeds oudere mannen die behalve Portugees geen andere talen spraken.

Liked: We stayed here because it's right next to the train station. It's not a very nice location, but it was convenient enough. One of the hostel managers was very friendly and helpful, but there was another guy that was pretty grumpy.

Disliked: Bathroom was pretty average. One of the managers was a bit rude.

Liked: Hm. For one night it was ok. I would not recommend it for more. If you want to get a bed for your money and you leave tomorrow - fine. Its not the cleanest place and it needs some more work to make it look like a place which is under care. Yes, you can see the staff cleaning the place - however it does not feel to be so clean.

Disliked: - It could be cleaner. - It could be somewhat more renovated. - Central location has the disadvantage that if your room looks to the street it can be noisy.

Liked: good hostel to time pass ...tv was ther..electric output to charge urs mobile stuff

Disliked: building number is not written outside the property it was hard to find with building number ...firstly i gone too far then again i have to come back..toilet was comman.....and there should be detail map so any one easily locate the hostel ...even it the night time when ther no one on the road

Liked: Closeness to Campana station, worked out excellent for transport to airport, city center, river douro. The balconey was awesome! Great for younger people, or those to really like to take in sights and SOUNDS of the locals, even late at night. Extremely clean rooms, and the staff came in and cleaned everyday!

Disliked: not much to do directly near hostal

Liked: we had to left the room till 12 in the morning, but we wanted to go to beach, so they let us leave there our luggage and than to have a free shower in the evening because of my friends long flight

Disliked: in the streets around the hostel it looked a little bit dangerous at night, because it's not in center and there is not too many people, but if you go only from the metro to the hostel or to sit for a drink near the hostel, it's ok

Liked: Great location (opposite the train station) and free overnight parking in the street. Very close to the airport! Was great for a night's rest after arriving in Portugal, but I will not recommend staying here if you are going to stay in Porto for longer. Try to stay more in the centre of town (old town). Our room had a small balcony, lovely!

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The staff was really very friendly, as everyone mentioned in the reviews. The rooms are very confortabe, and some have new showers and some don't. They have table tv's. The area is not the best at night, but have nice caffees really close, and if you have to leave early or is arriving late couldn't be better, it's really a few meters from the campanha station. There was a problem with our reservation, so I advise to check with the pensao before you arrive.

Disliked: The rooms are a bit old, that's true. There's no elevator, and a lot of stairs. The internet is not free but is cheap, 2 euros for 24 hours.

Liked: The cleaning, the staff.

Disliked: The location is in a terrible place, where a large number of bars and nightclubs that make much noise until 6:00. The other thing is the mattress that is of poor quality. You can feel all the springs in your back We couldn't sleep well definitly. The wireless (internet access didn't work

Liked: Best location in Porto if you are arriving at Campanha station, it's right across the street. Very good service, arrived later than expected and everything was ready. Nice room, comfy beds, just the thing you need after a long journey. Also, night service for snacks and drinks was available.

Disliked: WiFi is not free.

Liked: Excellent location, wonderfully nice staff. Facilities are not the cleanest, but still a good value for the price. The wifi is 2 euros/24h but didn't work in our rooms, and only worked in a common area that was closed in the early mornings. Otherwise, perfectly nice stay!

Disliked: Unstable wifi.

Liked: Good location. It's literally across the street from the train station. It was ideal for me, because I had taken the metro from the airport and I was going to take the train the next day. The train and metro are at the same station.

Disliked: I had to leave my passport with receptionist at check-in, as a "deposit" of some sort. I got it back when I checked out, but that is private information that others do not need to have. The staff also didn't speak English, They were nice though.

Liked: This hotel is practically on top of the Campanha train station. So if youa re arriving late or exhausted this place is ideal for your first night in Porto. As with many other cities, the area around the main train station isn't what I would describe as picturesque so this isn't ideal for spending your entire stay in Porto as there are many other places in the city with better views etc. This place is functional, well maintained and a good value for money. The owners are very nice but the staff were less friendly but when pushed proved to be helpful. The tv with almost 100 channels was nice for a rainy night.

Disliked: Warning: No elevator, if you need one.

Liked: The property was clean, staff were helpful and our room even had a TV in it! Also well located near to Campanha Station and metro. Some lovely places nearby for breakfast.

Disliked: It didn't have much of a hostel atmosphere as it was most definitely a guest house so I would say it's more somewhere to sleep than somewhere to meet people or socialise.
